"IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR FEET TOASTY DURING COLD LATE SEASON HUNTS, INVEST IN A PAIR THEY ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY WHILE YOUR SITTING IN A STAND ALL DAY. I USUALLY ADD SOME HAND WARMERS IN THEM BEFORE I LEAVE THE CAMPER OR TRUCK, BY THE TIME YOU GET IN THE WOODS TO YOUR STAND THEY ARE COOKING. "Sitting in a tree stand my feet get cold so thought I would give these a shot,
The only reason I did not give it a 5 stars is they sent two Left footed boots, not a big deal for going on the wrong foot but the connecting vecro for carring is wrong but I can live with that issue."

"I hunt a bit, but bought the Boot overboots to wear to football games in cold weather. I have and injured foot (crushed toes) and must wear an open cast-like boot. That's not going to stop me from great college games!"

Need better insulation on the bottom,

"After using them for two seasons, I have concluded that this produced needs better insulation on the bottom. It is constructed with the fill mostly on the sides and top. When I added a couple of pairs of felt insoles inside (under the boots but inside the boot blanket), they worked noticeably better. I must admit that I am a tough customer because I am really susceptable to cold feet."

"temp was -5; wind chill was -25; IL doe only season with snow on the ground. I was in a ground blind in about three inches of snow. The ground blind took care of the wind and the boot blanket took care of my feet. My feet were never cold. Used a foot warmer as extra insurance and I was quite comfortable. Might be too bulky if I was up in a tree...due to having the flexibility to put them on..but I have next season to try that out. I know my feet would have been cold without them as same blind, same location, 20 degrees warmer in 2nd season and froze my feet off."

They work but have issues,

"I found these overboots to be well made, but the snaps to attach the boots together do not allow you to keep them together so they don't fall when putting them on. It can be tough when you have bulky clothing and in a climber with a shooting rail. The other thing was the bottom plastic made a lot of noise in 6 degree weather. Every time I changed my foot placement you could hear the plastic crunch. Other than these small issues they worked great. They kept my feet warm. I would also recommend placing a foot warmer in the overboot on those extremely cold days. I have already recommended to a friend and he thinks they are great."

"Extremely warm. Perfectly waterproof in deep snow. Wind doesn't even get through them. Perfect for all day in a blind or standing. The only issue I have with them is that the coating on the bottom chips off along the edge seams - I am not sure this will effect much, but it could effect the waterproof-capabilites of the overboot."

"These boots work great at keeping your feet warm when still hunting. Throw a hand warmer pack in eack one, slip them over your boots and you have warm feet all day.
The only down side is that since you can't walk in them you have to put them on after you arrive at your stand, and this is a noisy process."

WARM FEET AT LAST!!!,

"I'VE OWNED A PAIR OF BOOT BLANKETS FOR MANY YEARS BUT NEVER EVEN TRIED THEM OUT ( I'D RECEIVED THEM AS A GIFT) UNTIL THIS SEASON, ONLY TO DISCOVER THAT THEY WERE A SIZE TOO SMALL. I WAS DESPERATE FOR WARM FEET . I JUST STARTED LONG RANGE HUNTING IN RECENT YEARS AND THIS YEAR MY BROTHER-IN-LAW AND MYSELF SET UP TO GLASS AT A SPOT THAT WAS COVERED WITH A THICK SHEET OF ICE. A WHOLE DAY OF THIS MADE MY NORMALLY WARM HUNTING BOOTS PRETTY INADEQUATE.
I GAVE MY TOO SMALL BOOT BLANKETS TO MY BROTHER-IN-LAW ( FOR WHICH HE'S ETERNALLY GRATEFUL ) AND QUICKLY ORDERED ANOTHER SET, THINKING THAT AT LEAST I WOULDN'T HAVE COLD FEET NEXT SEASON. TO MY SUPRISE THE NEW BOOT BLANKETS ARRIVED IN TWO DAYS, WITH STANDARD SHIPPING, NO LESS!! GREAT JOB CABELAS!! MY FEET THANK YOU. I'M CERTAIN THAT THESE THINGS REALLY HELPED US STAY PUT AND GLASS ALL DAY IN REALLY UNSEASONABLY COLD WEATHER. THE ONLY THING THAT COULD IMPROVE THESE WOULD BE A TOUGHER, NON SLIP MATERIAL ON THE SOLE. OTHERWISE THEY ARE PERFECT."

"If you spend hours at a time in a hunting blind or tree stand like I do in frigid conditions then purchase these insulated boot covers. I have tried everything in the past including boots with 1000 grams thinsulate insulation. Nothing helped my problem with cold toes and feet until now!
The boot blankets work great but take this point into consideration.....put them on once you get to your blind....don't wait until your feet are already cold. They are also not meant to walk in as the overboots are somewhat bulky. That is the only reason why I gave four stars and not five. They will fit into a larger sized pack.....or clip them to your belt....."
