"I was a little disappointed in this case. The materials are OK, but the workmanship left a lot to be desired. There were a couple of spots with loose stiches, and the front closure was sewn on crooked to reach the off center stud. None of this really affects the use , but I bought a leather case to be something more than just utilitarian, and this case is not."

"Cabela's does it again with another Great Quality Product. I live in Alaska and the outdoor equipment I buy gets used a lot and has to stand up to the brutal alaska wilderness. My first trip with this binocular case was moose hunting on the Black River, the case endured rain (horzonial and vertical), freezing rain, snow, and a big helping of sleet. My binoculars stayed dry and secure. Did have one reservation and that was putting them in an unlined leather case to move around and rub while traveling. Solved the problem by cutting a piece of firm foam rubber (out of a box used to ship electronics) to fit and placing it in the bottom of the case, now when I close the top, the binoculars fit snug and don't move."

"The case is excellent and a very nice, durable piece of leather. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the inside. I wish it had a softer leather or a differnet lining. I am pretty sure that my bino exterior will get rub marks from moving around in the case. It does not keep me from using the case."

"Hi, All; I just got this case today via UPS, &, to my amazement, they fit these real large Binoculars! My Binoculars are the Nikon Action EX 16x50. 'If' they should ever decide to make the large cases a 1/2" wider, I'd be able to turn the lens covers on the strap around, so where they are situated to be on the strap, where they connect to the strap, with the slots, facing outwards, I'd be able to put them in/take them out, without the case pulling them off every time. But, it's a minor inconvenience; I'll just turn those covers' slots inward... At least I've got a really nice, well-made, leather case!"

"There aren't a lot of options available for leather binocular cases and this is pretty good. The leather is reasonable quality and the construction is serviceable. My only quibble is with the fit and finish of the construction: mediocre stitching (I expect to have to repair a seam at some point) and the use of glue (which would be unnecessary with decent stitching) is unattractive."

"This Triple K Leather Binocular case is a work of art...absolutly stunning. Aside from its beauty and function, the bag hangs well and stays on your shoulder when walking. For your reference- my Swarovski SLC 10x50 binoculars (as in the photo on the website) are massive but fit in the large case snuggly but perfectly. The eye cups do have to be twisted down to secure the top. Treat the leather from time to time and it will last generations."

"I have the Swarovski EL 8.5 X 42. They show as being 6.5" high. I almost bought one of the older Swarovski "metal" cases that are still out there, but I realized I wanted a case to carry my binoculars in the car, plane etc or go to the game or concerts without looking like I'm carrying a bomb as some of the nice metal cases may imply. Besides, they take up too much room anyway.... especially if you want to pack them while protecting them. I have read in these reviews that the medium case fits this fine.. however I question as to how?... I'm assuming that must be without the caps on the ends and without the rings on the eyepiece extended. "for those who don't wear glasses" Although the standard case that comes with the binoculars is a sharp looking case for a non leather case, the thing that displeased me about them is that I keep having to put the rings back down as I "don't" wear glasses and the flap will not close if the eye rings are extended in the up position with the caps on too.... So I looked for a case that would allow me to leave them up and the "large" Triple K case seemed to fit the ticket. Once I received it, the height was perfect with the eyepiece rings extended "and" the caps on, with about 1/4 inch to spare... however I thought I was in trouble as the EL's are so small in width that I discovered the case has about 2" to spare in width from side to side. Right before I was contemplating sending them back, I actually realized I had to have that extra space for the neck strap! The carrying neck strap fits perfectly beside the binoculars and causes a nice secure fit without movement!... yet the binoculars are still easy to get out and in. The strap to open and close the case is also perfect allowing quick removal, yet secure to prevent accidental openings. I always hated those metal type clasps on many of the other brands of cases as they can rust, or break and are hard to fumble with. This case has the feel of a lifetime of wear without a struggle with class and elegance all at the same time. I hate putting a 2000.00 pair of fine binoculars in a case that looks cheap not reflecting the quality inside!... You will not be disappointed in the quality, looks, feel and functional use of this case! As with any fine leather, it can be oiled, polished and shined to suit.. .although it comes from the factory already in perfect order. Looks like Cabelas threw together another fine classy product!"
