"I bought this original and strange artifact to a lady who loves outdoors activities, in october/2008. Near an year ago, this is the comments this lady gave me. I hope this makes any sense to all ladies watching for information on it:
"This "gift" is what no one wants to talk about, but that most women would love to know about it. So I'll tell you that this is an original and strange artifact that everybody woman might be ashame to buy, but it's very useful for the active women on the go, in particular in all those ridiculous, potentially dangerous or simply outdoors situations of life.
I recommend this horrible object (it looks horrible!) to all ladies of all runs, girls, well grown ladies of all ages, even if they can't go out from a wheel chair (in such case, you need a longer plastic). For lady astronomers that stay all night watching, lovers of outdoors, camping, etc are really useful. In hunting or wild life photographs' hunting, it can be used as a scent blocker if you use it the right way, with a longer plastic tube and a bag to store it. It will work right for the first time, without moving the freshette from its place. If moved, the relative scent block (it doesn't really offer true scent block 100%) will stop.
Now talking about scents (for outdoors, not hunting), I found useful to mix detergent with perfume in a small spray bottle after every use, if there's no water around. I missed a better way to clean it, but with its shape, it's really difficult.
Another problem is that even if flexible, it's still a bit bulky to wear on the pocket, and you need a small waterproof to do so.
Ah! And another problem is that it takes a learning curve, so never try to buy it and use it the same day. I'll tell you (all women) that you need to control the speed and flow of it. "

"I love to duck hunt and now I get to go anywhere and not have to worry about having to undress. Its hard with waders and all the clothing on, but now its so simple. "I was doubtful about using the freshette at first. However, it works wonderfully! It is simple to use and make life easier in the field. It is great not having to bare it all and have to deal with the cold weather. Also, we sometimes have "onlookers" when we're out hunting. They're watching for any deer that we might scare up, but I don't need them spying me in their spotting scope! The freshette is convienent, simple to use, offers privacy, and helps in the elements. I would recommend this to any woman who loves being in the great outdoors. It may look a little odd, but after you use it you will find out how easy the guys have it!"

"When i saw the picture i was a little skeptical of the size, 'how could this be small and compact it looks huge?!' The picture is a little decieving, this is something that fits anywhere and is very very handy.
