"Compact & solid. A bit more length would improve leverage and risk of getting your fingers overly involved in the splitting process, but short length also makes it as easy to pack as could be possible in a tool like this. Undoubtedly built for the job; it feels even heavier than expected. A close-to-perfect big tent stake hammer when turned over."
