"I tried the women's boots, then the men's boots, to get something wide enough for my feet. Usually shoes are wide enough if I go up one size, but with these I ordered two sizes larger, and they were still too tight. I returned both pairs and just couldn't see trying again when, even with two or more inches of space in front of my toes, the boots were too tight for socks. Still shopping."

"I purchased 3 sets of Pac's one for myself and the others for my son's, the quality is excellent and they are extremely warm. I would buy them again but my last pair lasted 30+ years, at 62 I probabaly wont live long enough to buy another pair..."

"After wearing some Sorrels years I replaced them with the Cabela's Pac Boot and just in time for a cold New England winter. So far I have been very pleased. The traction on the saole is great. Alot of value for the price."

"My 10-1/2 year old wanted something for playing in the snow, but he wears size 8 men's shoes already. We couldn't find anything that came high up on the leg in mens wear until we found these. He loves these boots! Says they are comfortable and warm. Yes, they are huge in size, I think that is due to the extra thick lining."

Cold Feet,

"I have had some Sorel Pac books for several years... yet, when I was outside in extreme cold... my feet would always be cold... no matter what type of socks I had on. I recently purchased the Cabela's Winter Range II pac boot. Wow, what a difference. They rated it to -60 degrees and they weren't kidding. I received them just before a severe cold spell hit in South Dakota. We had several days of temps in the -40 to -50 degree range... yet, I was able to be outside shoveling and never once had cold feet. Amazing. I also didn't have to wear huge, bulky wool socks. My Cabela's medium weight hiking sock did the trick. I would recommend these boots to anyone. They are fantastic. Size wise they fit pretty much exactly to size. You can't go wrong with these!!"

NOT WATERPROOF-ONLY WATER RESISTANT,

"I'm sure these are great boots but beware if you need a WATERPROOF boot, don't buy these. I bought these boots thinking they were waterproof. When I got them home I found out they are only water resistant, not waterproof. Luckily I did not wear them outside so I can return them. I called customer service and they confirmed they are not waterproof only water resistant which means water could enter the boot if it goes above the rubber. Cabelas does offer the Polar Cap boot which looks very similar for $20 more that is waterproof so I will buy those instead of the Winter Range."

"I purchased these boots for a Job I had in Sun Valley ID.
With conditions ranging from below zero to right around 30 degrees fahrenheit, I was really happy that my feet were never the part of me that was cold. I love the pouch on the bottom of the liner for foot warmers. I also liked that they were comfortable right off the begining and required no break in period."
