Bench grinder perfection,August 17, 2009

"This is a very easy to use receiver lock. The shape of the locking end was perfect for my 2003 4Runner as the receiver has 2 flanges that would prevent the use of a more bulky apparatus. I did need to shape the pin with a bench grinder to put a very slight taper on the collar of the pin to aid in removal as it was getting hung up due to the tight fit. This took about 20 seconds and everything fits perfect now.
This is not something everyone should expect as it was unique to the combination of my truck, the cargo carrier and this specific receiver lock. If you don't have a bench grinder a file would do just fine."

"This is the worst lock i have ever bought. It came in a blister pack so there is no way for anyone to know if it works or not, When i open it i did try the lock and the lock was free moving with any key or small pointed tool did open it.
totaly useless lock i have had better locks for 1 dollar then this one."
