"I think the hangers look great. Very easy to put the protective felt inside the hanger. The screws seem a little flimsy, but easy enough to use longer screws. Very stable and sturdy, so no worries about anything falling"

"I really liked the hangers, they are very nice. the only thing i didn't like was the screws were not philips, they were sloted, which makes them hard to use a power screw driver."

"These things are great. I used the antique finish hangers to display a fairly heavy civil war era muzzleloader. They are twice as strong as they appear in the photo, and despite what others have said the factory screws are plenty long enough if you use plastic drywall hangers like I did; for that matter I know they'd be fine too if screwed into wood. You have to be careful when putting the adhesive-backed felt on to make sure it's straight, but it's well worth it to know that whatever it is your hanging won't get scratched up. When all was said and done they looked really nice too. I'll make the appropriate changes to this if I get home and my rifle is sticking out of the top of my TV below gaping holes in the drywall....."

Good finish!
Felt easy to apply, just be patient
Screws WERE long enough, mounting into drywall anchors.
To be perfect I would like to have seen the metal twice the
guage and the engraving deeper; which of course would most
likely double the price."

"I had been looking on the Internet for some time before finding these particular hangers. They are perfect for displaying my antique Civil War musket. The hangers are strong yet don't show much since I chose the antique finish. They don't detract from the display. The only thing that could be better is longer screws. The short ones that came with the hangers were of no use. Not a big deal, but would have been nice if I could have used the screws included.
If I had other old firearms to display I would buy these again."

"These hangers are great. Like others have said though, the screws are too short, so you have to devise your own way of getting them attached to the wall. I've just ordered my 7th set. So far they hold my 58 cal. Civil War musket, the bayonet that goes with it, and four civil war swords. When I install this next set, I'll have to fix some of the existing ones that have loosened up over the years; but I couldn't find a nicer set of hangers, in an antique shop."

"I like the hangers. However, I have two comments. First, the screws are too short for sheetrock, so I used anchors. But I never hang anything on the wall over 2 pounds without anchors. Second, the adhesive on the felt strips is inordinately strong. It made it very difficult to apply to the hanger. In the end, it looks just fine."
