"Best binos. I have used ! I have had them for over 5 years now. Originally purchased for bow hunting,but now I carry and use them everywhere. Extremely clear, Exellent light transmission, even in low light. Only better light transmission are my Lieca 10-42; but can only tell the differance at almost dark. I still prefer my compacts, but did take a while to get used to small size"

"My wife and I own one Leica spotting scope and three pairs of compact binoculars. Until now we have always highly recommended them, to our friends. In a nutshell – we love them, BUT Two notes of caution! 1. If you are tempted to buy from an non-authorized Leica dealer (lots of low prices on the Internet) be aware that the great Leica Lifetime guarantee will NOT apply to your purchase. Your purchase will not be guaranteed by Leica – PERIOD! Cabela’s is an authorized dealer as far as I know. 2. Leica has been having a terrible time in their USA repair department. We sent my wife’s binoculars in June for cleaning and adjustment, (something we’ve done several times with our three pairs). She got them back in late September, but only after a long series of frustrating telephone calls. It was a very unpleasant experience with so many unreturned phone calles we lost track. We sure hope Leica will get their house back in order! In the meantime we can't recpommend them to a friend."

"I gave these compacts five stars because of the fine optics. they are the best optics I have seen in a compact binocular. However I almost gave it four stars because in the ad it said they were one hundred percent waterproof but on reading the manual it said that they were only splash proof. They are small enough to carry out in the field and I wont leave them in camp as I have done with some of the larger binos that I own. all and all they are the best binos I own."

"I have had two pairs for Leicas and love them. I got the compact pair for bow hunting. These are really light weight, clear and bright. I believe you have to buy the best glass you can afford. There are no better compact glasses on the market today in my opinion."
