"This works great to hold my range finder. When you have a pack, binos etc. on keeping your range finder in your shirt pocket doesn't work so well. I keep the zipper open and tie the range finder to my pack. Very easy to locate when needed and keeps it from dangling loose and knocking into things."

"This is a great lock system, IF you have something to attach it to. You cannot buy the reverse Buddy-lok part even from the manufacturer. You cannot bu a belt with mating parts to attach it to. So, here you have this great attachment system with no way to use it. Talk about bad marketing! If they would just sell the parts so you could sew them on to a belt, or iwth belt loops built in to the buddy-lok parts, then you could build your own set of bags and accessories that could interchange and lok on."

"Pouch works fine, but a little bigger than I anticipated. I bought the larger unit so I could carry my range finer in it. It can not only carry a range finder, but also my GPS, a Camera and some snacks with out filling it up. I foud it just a little bulky, but a quality pouch."

"Handy piece of kit! I bought the large pouch to build my own survival kit.So far I've stuffed a space blanket, tinder kit, grerber pak-axe, 100' paracord,duct tape (small roll), pocket knive,small sharpener,sewing kit, snare wire,silva ranger compass, fishing kit (film canister), spool of fishing line,insect repellent and there is still enough room for more bits and pieces as I come across them. The pouch fits on my day pack, in my pack,alone on my belt, or on a shoulder strap. I plan to buy some more in various sizes. I'd like to use them to organize the gear in my packs and make an emergency food pack, I just haven't decided how long I'm going to be lost ;). I would like to see a Buddy-lok padded belt and harness, so you could customize your load to your activity ( along the line of the mililitary M.O.L.L.E. system without the flak vest)."

"I purchased the Buddy-Lok Accessory Pouch in the XL Size for use as a weatherproof case for my Nikon 10 x 42 Monarch ATB bino's. The Realtree AP Camo pattern is a plus and the quality and construction of the case is very good. There is enough room to hold the binoculars/harness. The large finger pulls are handy and make it easy to use while wearing gloves."

"I use the large size as a binocular case. The size and amount of cushioning is perfect. I keep a cleaning cloth and a few cotton swabs in the pocket. The interior of the case has an inner divider which makes it easy to fold up the binocular neck strap and stow it apart from the binoculars while it is still attached. These cases are well thought out and handy. The smaller sizes are just right for extra cartridges, compass, knife, and all the small things you are likely to need on a hunt."

"Using this product as a possibles bag for muzzleloading and have not had a chance to use in field. I did however, fill the bag/pouch with all the necessary tools and accessories needed to use black powder and everything fit. I see no problem in the field and have used other buddy-lok equipment without any problems so this should be just what I needed."

"This is really great you can use this for the items you use more frequent than others and the fact that you can use the lok on feature (if you have back pack that can accommodate it) to have it at your fingertips is great. "The pouch works great for having items handy with the pack on. The pouch goes on the front strap and can be placed on either side with great ease. This pouch is rather large (perfect for a small video camera) so it could make it difficult to shoot a bow with it on, but a smaller sizes would solve that problem."

"THis is the second buddy-lok pouch I've purchased. I use the first on to hold a small digital camera or my range finder. Keeps them handy attached to the straps of my hunting bag. I got the other so I wouldn't have to reach behind me to access other gear. I can keep my range finder and camera handy. It's even large enough toi hold a small video camera as well. The small pocket holds extra batteries within easy reach and organized with the camera or range finder--no more searching for batteries, or cleaning cloths, or what have you."
