"I wish Cabelas would check out these things before selling them. The diameter of this 45 Cal Jag is to large, and you cannot push a patch down the barrel..Its great for pushing the bullet down the Barrel, but then you have to change to the TC Jag to run a Patch ..."

"Works great for pushing sabots allowing the sabot to stay in the rifling of the barrel. I bought an extra to make sure I'm never without one during hunting season! (I tend to mis-place things when I need them most) I would suggest lock-tight on the threaded rod to keep it from unscrewing from the brass jag."

"I had to use vise grips to tighten the jag to my ramrod. The strength of the steel thread is stronger than the machined brass thread on T/C’s version, but steel rusted. When cleaning, the patch appears to rotate, but it raps around the shaft of the jag causing it to hang up. As I was loading I felt the jag was pushing on the tips of my bullets. I took the breech plug out and pushed one through. The tip was smashed."

"This jag does swivel right off the top of the jag and into the barrell where it got lodged in my barrell and broke off. The swivel motion weebles and wobbles and there is absolutely no way it could help with any accuracy as the jag does not accurately extend into the barrell thus, losing the jag in the barrell because it broke off. I wouldn't suggest buying this product EVER, a complete waste of your time and money."

"Simply put...this thing rocks! The swivel is very smooth and allows you to keep even pressure without worrying about how the projectile is riding down the rifling. My NEF Sidekick also has a fairly short [factory] ramrod, so the extra couple inches is an added bonus. If you are in a hurry, you can also wrap a cleaning patch around the jag and run it through the barrel between shots. I am glad to have this in my field kit and would recommend it to anyone who would listen :)"

"I have a 50 caliber TC Z-5 muzzle loader.
The diameter of this jag is too large: with a standard cleaning patch you can not force it down the barrel. The diameter is larger than the standard TC jag"

"I like the swivel end on this jag. I had other sabot loading jags and had little problems with the jag not wanting to turn with the rifleing in the barrel. sometimes the jag would start to unthread from the ramrod, unless you would let the ramrod turn in your hand while loading or cleaning. the swivel action is much better...."

"This product is the best innovation I have seen in muzzloading in years. It does exactly what it says it would do. It make loading and cleaning my smokepoles so much easier. Why would you want to slide a sabot across your rifling when you can load it to the spiral of your gun have made my groups tighten up considerably. All shots now at 100 yards blow through the same hole!!!!!!!!!!"

"I use the 50 caliber model. It really works, it doesn't mare the bullet when pushing the bullet through the rifling. I know because I removed the breech plug and pushed the bullet all the way through the barrel. Also makes loading eaiser because the ramrod doesn't try to turn in your palm when loading a bullet. When cleaning the patch follows the rifling with ease which makes cleaning quicker."
