"this vest is great for layering. I bought it because it is reversible. The vest would be OK for cool days by itself. I ordered a large and I feel that the sizes run true. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because I would like it to have a little more insulation."

"Vest worked out really well. I love the fact that it is reversible. I think I have actually used the safety orange side more. Pretty decent at repelling wind for not having sleeves. But other than that, I would have to say nice vest."

"I bought this vest primarily for chilly morning quail hunts. It's great because it reverses to hunter orange and is lightweight, perfect for layering till it warms up. It is well made, has two big pockets on the front for gloves or shells. I don't like sleeves of a jacket in my way of shooting unless it is too cold to do without them and I looked for a while before I found a 3x hunter orange vest. Some of the reviews I read before purchasing this vest complained of the vest not being waterproof. Be aware of the fact that the product description NEVER says that it is. There is a big difference between water repellent and water proof. It has performed up to my expectations.Cabela's to the rescue again. A very good product."

"After receiving the Cabela's Ultimate Suede Weather-BLOCK Insulated Reversible Vest, I was not pleased with the insulation quality of the vest. I held the vest up to a light and you could see through it. I promptly returned it to Cabelas and received a refund with no problem."

"This article is everything the description says. It is warm, quiet and the sizing is accurate. The only drawback I have found is the zipper is small and difficult to engage smoothly. It would benefit from a larger, more robust version. This is not a deal breaker however as it seems to be getting better with use."
