too loud for my likeing,

"My primary considerations for a hunting jacket are 1) warmth 2) quiet and 3) water repelant. I bought this jacket for my son to hunt in for opening weekend in the Catskills which usually require at least two of the three characteristics mentioned above. This is the first cabela's item I purchased that I was less then excited about, despite its very reasonable price. It was not real cold this weekend and we did not get any rain so my primary problem was with the noise it made with the simplest movements (I could hear it with each breath he took). I will return it and anti up for something quieter-I guess I should've know a 100% polyester jacket is bound to be noisy."

"Elk hunted in Colorado. Jacket kept me warm in the early mornings. Stayed dry while posted up on some points with alittle bit of rain and snow blowing in unexpected. Got to hot to where while walking around ready for winter to hit to get to really try the jacket out. Well worth the money plenty of room."

"I deer hunted in NW Ohio on 12/5/08 when it was 15 degrees F in the morning and never got above 26 degrees all day with a NW wind of 10-15 mph and I stayed comfortable all day and ended my hunt with a very nice thick typical 8 pt late that afternoon. Great gear!"

"great jacket. Bought the bibs with it went hunting early december. Wore it in 20 degree weather with the bibs
and stayed very comfortable 4 hours into the morning hunt
with no other form of heat. Would highly recomend it to a friend. I did not wear any thermal under clothes with this item
did not need to. WORKS GREAT!!!"

"good jacket for the price. warm and waterproof. the elastic cuffs are exposed to rain. would sugest you get a Tall so you can pull the suede material over cuffs."

"You know I have always considered spending a little extra to get quality. Sometimes that works out and sometimes it does not. This product gets 5 stars from me which is not often! I received the Coat and bibs and went hunting the next day with them. I will warn you it had better be cold if you wear them because they are warm! Not Bulky like that Polyfill stuff! It is also very quiet! I walked thru chest high sticker bushes bloodt trailing a deer. Big sticker bushes!! The Guy with me could not believe me going into that stuff with $350 bucks worth of new Camos! I said if I can't do this then they are not worth it. I am hard on Camo and this stuff goes right thru the thick stuff! If you demand tuff stuff! Cabelas has you covered on this one! Crenge and hit the add to cart button! You will not be sorry!"

"I live in up state NY were at any time the weather can go from sunny to very cold rain , sleat ,snow , below zero temps , wind chills that whould blow your mind . deap hard woods swamps thorn thickets pine stands you name it . liveing next to lake ontero is not easy . close to 300inches of snow every year . wether on stand or on my tractor plowing snow ,it keeps me warm and dry . Only one problem not good for staking and still hunting , i get way to warm , swets me out of them . i have worn for two years they hold up good. + i am 6ft 6 inch over 300+ thank god for + sizes only cabelas carrys theese sizes at such a cheap price ."

"I was looking for a light-weight jacket and pants set that I could wear during spring gobbler season. I was trying to find something just enough for the first couple of hours in the morning when us old guys can get a little cold. I bought the vest that goes with this set and the insulation weight and fabric seemed to be just right for chilly mornings here in the South. The jacket (and pants) had to be returned because they are just too heavy for down here. I hated to return them because the fit was perfect, and the zippered pants legs made them easy to take off over boots. Although I did not get to wear them in the field, these products seemed to be well made. I have come to expect this with Cabela’s products"

"Jacket is reasonably quiet and very comfortable. The weather has not been cold enough since I've had it to really tell how warm it is. So far it seems to be warm enough and the best part is the jacket is not bulky."

"I got this jacket for hunting in PA, and it seemed like a great jacket, until I was in the field. It was very warm and comfortable, but it wasn't sewn between two buttons. I'll be sending it back, but otherwise, it was a great jacket."

"This coat stood up to the toughest weather this past weekend deer hunting in Iowa. We had rain most of the day and the only part of me that wasn't wet and cold was the part covered by this coat. This coat kept out the water and the harsh winds. It performed even better than I thought it might. Cabela's calls it a jacket, but I think of it as more of a coat. Meaning it's not a light jacket. To me it's heavy enough to stand up to cold harsh winter weather without any problem. The hood was one of the things that made this such an awesome coat. When the hood was up the wind stayed out."
