Low Light Clarity,November 21, 2009
By SMOOTHboarfrom Leander, TX
"The Nikon Pro Staff w/ BDL is what I put on my Savage 270. The range circles of the BDL are nice for daylight distance shots (only used at the range) and the slightly thicker lines of the red cross hairs are a plus. I hunt hogs and in the low light of the moon the scope really gathers more light than the last scope I had a $50 Simons. I purchased the Nikon due to the some what lower price point than many of the other Big Name Brand units on the shelf. It is more still than the cheapest scopes but it is a lot of scope for the money."

Love this Scope!,November 18, 2009
By bullet007from Northern Minnesota
"This scope is spot on! I always had trouble zeroing in my old scope. I purchased the NIkon Prostaff BDC and took 3 shots this year with three kills. Only took me half dozen shots to get it sighted in after bore sighting also. I have Tons of confidence in this scope! Great Product!"

Very nice scope,November 2, 2009
By Bronco3from Orange County, CA
"This is a very nice scope and there is only one thing that I have found objectionable about it. This scope has an unusually long eye relief (over 4") and unless you are a child with short arms, you will have great difficulty holding your rifle comfortably while straining to get a clear sight picture. I remedied this by modifying the scope mounting rail so that the scope could be moved about 1.25 inches further forward. Now I have an excellent set-up and like the scope very much."

Nice, easy to work with.,October 20, 2009
By jakem823from Wheaton, IL
"Put this together with my 870 pump gun, and it works like a charm. Easy to use, easy to sight-in, no issues as of yet. Will see how it works in the field in Nov. Among other things, I tried bunch of different slugs, and the point of impact will shift considerably between one slug manufacturers to another. I am stuck with Winchester Super X, my groups are within 2 inches each, and I can repeat almost all the shots. I do get an occasional fluke, but it’s a shotgun not a .270. If you’re going to sight-in pick one slug manufacturer and stick with it. Cheers."

Excellent buy for the money,October 20, 2009
By Freefirefrom Indiana
"I have Nikon scopes on three of my hunting rifles, and they have all worked flawlessly. The Prostaff scope is an excellent buy for the money, and is comparable with the optical quality of scopes that cost 2-3 times as much."

The Real Deal,October 19, 2009

"The Niko ProStaff may be Nikons bargain scope but anyone who buys one knows this is the RealDeal as clear and dependable as any scope in its price range and will hold its own with scopes costing much more!"

3x-9x-40 pro staff,October 12, 2009
By OmegaSmokefrom East Bethel, MN
"This is a great quality scope. I have it mounted on an Omega muzzleloader. Very clear glass. Tough to tell the difference in clarity between this scope and a Leupold VX II I have. You can't go wrong with Nikon as far as I'm concerned."

Great scope not a fan of the BDC,September 24, 2009
By budgethunter
"The BDC circles are easy to see in the field but when using them out over 200 yards the circle is way to big and can cover your entire target.
The scope is great and probably one of the best for the money."

Great Value!!! Excellent Quality!!,September 20, 2009
By lightsouthunterfrom NW PA
"Mounted this scope on my new .270 and couldnt be happier... was looking for a good scope in this price range and am very pleased. Bright, clear, holds a zero. The only thing to mention is the magnification adjustment ring is stiffer than some other scopes, but the raised saddle makes it easier. I love this scope, especially for the price!"

Nikon Pro Staff Riflescope,September 6, 2009
By HICKERBILLYUP08from North East Ohio
"I have this scope on my .17 HMR and I absolutely love it. The lenses are clear and gather more than enough light. A friend of mine was carrying my rifle and slipped in the snow and dropped the rifle but when I shot the rifle the scope was still point on. Darn good buy for the little price."

Nikon 3-9 rifle scope,August 10, 2009
By Bwanamikefrom I guide hunters for brown bear in Alaska
"I was looking for a quality but economical rifle scope for my wife's .308 Winchester rifle. When this Nikon Prostaff 3-9 scope arrived, both my wife and I were impressed with the brightness and clarity of the scope. After installing it on my wifes rifle and zeroing the rifle at the range, I shot a sub-minute of angle 5 shot group at 100yds. This tells me the scope is a quality product and deserving consideration for use on medium caliber rifles."
