Excellent Product for training a older dog,September 12, 2009

"This is an amazing product. I have a 2 year old beagle/boston terrier mix. and all he does when at heel is plant his nose to the ground..and follow what ever smell was interesting.I was skeptical of using a choke chain...I started trying with a normal flat collar and leash and all that did was make him resist more...its always a constant pressure and to make him listen you have to pretty much tug the dog around....I then tried a harness that wrapped around the torso...did not do anything at all...after reading countless books, and watching dvd's the one thing I realized out of all the training methods is that all trainers use some sort of "pressure collar". So I settled on the wonder lead... the first time on the wonder lead the dog went to sniff once and gave a quick snap of the lead and not once did he put his head down again..with in three snaps the dog was doing full right turn 180s with the dog on left heel. This is a amazing product...the one thing about dog training is the dog most know the command...if he knows what you want this is a great tool for reinforcing...and for anyone who is skeptical like i was this collar leaves little to know pressure on the dog when on and every correction only lasts for a 1/16th of a second....rather than dragging your dog around constantly with a flat collar...if you want results this is the tool."

"I have two chocolate labs that are hard to control at times on a lead. Especially if they see a squirrel, etc. The lead would work better for me if it were shorter and more supple."

"I have a Brittany that is very wired. We tried everthing to get her to lead nothing worked until the wonder lead. Within two minutes of knowing how to use it she was leading. And within 30 minutes I couldnt believe it was the same dog. Awesome tool."
