"This is a good, all purpose sock especially as a light-hiker. They wick moisture well, dry very quickly, and don't "creep" in the boot or on the ankle. Make sure to order larger size then you normally would, however. I wear size 11 shoe ("large") and thanks to reviews, went with the XL size. The XL's fit perfect."

"These socks are the most comfortable socks I've worn with my steel toe work boots. They do, however, have a seam across the toes but it doesn't bother my toes like othe seamed toe socks do. I've only been wearing them for a few weeks, and I just hope that they will hold up as advertised. Great socks."

"I like the socks and didn't return them even though they are not as thick I was looking for. Not Cabela's fault just the way they are. Despite the description which I read it is hard to figure out if they will be thick enough. They are not thick enough for what I had planned but the socks are comfortable so I will keep them and use them as a daily outdoor use sock and not in my hunting boots."

"I first ordered the medium (6-8) as I wear a size 81/2 and they were undersized. In the past I have worn mediums and they fit well but wore larges if I were going to wear silk undersox. I gave them to my wife and ordered the large (8-10). They fit great and I am confident that they will wear well. If you are considering ordering these sox and wear a size 9 1/2 or larger then I would order the XL."
