"This is a lovely knife which I bought to replace my favorite stolen by a valet. Typical of Buck, it is sharp and solidly built. But, lovely though it is, it just doesn't have the same mass, and for that reason is a far cry from the older version. And, yes, it is the larger of the two currently available versions. I want my old knife back."

"I got this for my boyfriend this year for Christmas. I wanted to get him something that lets him know I love him, but he's not that into jewelry, so when I saw that I could have his initials engraved on this knife, I knew I found the right gift. It's not really what you would call a 'manly gift' but he already knows he's 'manly', this gift says 'I Looking forward to life with you'. It's not Christmas yet so I don't know if he'll like it or not, but I know that I found the right gift."

"I ordered two of the Buck Classic knives as wedding attendant gifts and they both arrived packed well and in excellent condition.
They were good looking, well made knives. Something that the young men I bought them for will be able to carry for the rest of their lives. And that's just what I wanted them for.
The scrolling design on the knife was very handsome.
About the only thing I was slightly disappointed in was the engraving. It looked like letters that had been stuck on instead of actual engraving. But it wasn't enough to make me want to return them. Like I said, I was just slightly disappointed with it."

"I have carried the buck classic for 24 yrs this knife holds an edge better than any knife I have ever used. I have gutted two elk before with out needing sharpened. Very durable and still looks great after all these years. I am ordering one for my son because he has always admired mine."
