Cabela's deluxe cot pad,

"I used the Deluxe cot pad in the Colorado Rockies for 6 days. It was a bonus to have this product in the tent for those long nights. The pad was very comfortable and help insulate me from the cold ground underneath my cot. I would highly recommend this product to others. Mark from Jersey."

What a Mistake,

"I was a little nervous about the price at first, so I just purchased the cot by itself. Wow what a mistake that was. Although the cot is very good it was a little tough on these old bones. After purchasing the deluxe cot pad I was a happy man. Very comfortable sleeping. Only draw back I found is that it's a little bulky for packing, [ about the same size as the cot ] But if you have the space it's a very comfortable pad."

"I purchased this cot pad because my cot was an older one and It was stretched and sinks more than a new one. I was hoping the cot pad would level out my bed and reinforce my back. The cot pad is soft and curved with the old droopy cot bed so I guess I shall go and buy a new cot. The pad is a soft pad, easy to transport and roll up, I was hoping for it to be a little more of a stiff pad than soft but that is how I like to sleep. If you like a soft bed then this should work for you, if you like a harder bed than this is prbably not going to work for Ya, All.... Now. Back to killing some Deer."

"So far so good. The cot is a little tough to put together, but that keeps it tight. It is long enough and wide enough for my 6'4" 230lbs. It is very sturdy and did not wobble on uneven ground."

"First off...this sleeping pad is not designed as a compact, back-packable pad. But, it is a great camp / cot pad. 3" of sleeping comfort and the straps attached work well to secure it to your cot to alleviate the slippage unsecured pads will do as you roll and turn in your sleep. It rolls up and secures just as well with the strap and buckle set meant to contain it for travel or storage and the web grab handle gives you something to hold and carry."

"This pad is ridiculous. The Cabelas cot is 77" long but these pads are only 72". The 77" length includes a bit of fabric and piece of wood. I suspect the manufacturer cheapened up the dimensions and shortened the pad without Cabelas knowledge. Get the Cabelas cot but forget the pad. Instead get a Thermorest pad that fits the cot dimensions and is much easier to pack."

That darn pad,

"Warning, this pad makes it tough to go hunting. So darn comfortable I can't walk past it without wanting to lay back down!
Seriously, a great investment for your army cot. It cushions the pressure points extremely well. Much superior to any pad I have ever used prior. I have had mine for several years now and it is still holding up well. The cover is soft and tough. If need be, the cover can be removed for cleaning but, I wouldn't want to try it as it unzips at only one end. I have not had to do so yet, and this pad gets used often. The attached compression straps are nice when rolling up the pad as you don't have to figure out where you laid them. It also has an attached carry handle and straps to keep it in place on the cot."

"I purchased this pad a while back to use with my cot for hunting camp. The pad kept the cold air and moisture from seeping into the bottom of my sleeping bag. I had used this for 7 nights and slept like a baby. It beats any air mattress for camping. I also use it for when the relatives have run out of room and have me sleep on the floor. Believe me it is worth its price."
