Wide and not as insulated as you might think,

"ordered these boots because I didn't want to mess up another pair of tennis shoes walking the dog in rain/mud/snow. I ordered them on a Wed and they got here on Mon. They fit wide on my fairly narrow foot, with one pair of socks, but when I went to play in the snow with two pair of socks, they fit well. The insulation is only on the bottom of the shoe and I feel like they should line the leather upper as well (that's why there's not a 5th star) I do enjoy the boots, my feet stayed dry in the snow and warm with two pair of socks (toes started to get cold on a short walk with the dog in one pair of socks) I will buy the moccasin version for the spring and summer months."

Not a good fit,

"The sizing of this boot is not correct. I normally wear a size 12 in just about every shoe or boot, but this boot runs a little big and very wide. If you have a very wide foot, these may work well, but not for me. The quality of construction seemed to be good. Thanks for a great return policy."

6" lace-Up Boot,

"I like the concept of the boot. It is well made; however, the leather is quite stiff and the upper margin rubs against the skin. I have glued felt inside the leather upper and the tongue and do not lace the upper eyes. That makes the boot much more comfortable. I wish they would send some felt with the boot so that one has the option to wear the shoe with or without the felt Or use softer leather. Then I would be happy to give the boot 5 stars and recommend to a friend.
(I am a great Cabela fan I must add. This is the first item I have gotten from Cabela that has not be a 5 star item.)"

Great Service-Durable Boots,

"Once again, Cabella's came through with standard mail delivery. I needed these boots in a week but didn't pay the extra shipping. The boots came in earlier than I had to have them.
This past July, the weather was wet and cool for a weeklong Northern Ontario fishing trip. These Cabela's Professional Outdoor™ Footwear Insulated 6" Lace-Up Boots did the trick!
The only way that I could give them 5 stars would have been to had them manufactured in the USA."

"I find them good looking and should be an acceptable boot. Comparing them to my past boots made by your competition, I find yours to be heavier and the leather uppers to be a less quality. They will need ,as a result , more time to break in. I just hope the leather uppers hold out as well as the previous pair I had."
