"I wanted this for about 4 years just never could see spending the money at the time.Finally threw joint effort of family I got it for christmas. Ive shoot 100 plus rounds and its one of funnest guns I own.Took while to get use to but its blast in dove fields.Realy rocks the feild when it goes off and the smoke rolls. I had few misfire at first but two hot shot nippels fixed that.The fit and finish are top notch.Manufacture did heck of job.Im trying to find chokes for it have been told same as remington.Problem is mine is 10 gauge version. Taken two turkeys at 30 yards and cpl dozen doves.Only 2 rabbits.Its become my fun hunting gun.lilttle slow to reload,but Im working on speed loader for it. Buy one you ll love it"

"This gun is made by the premier black powder gun manufacturer in Europe. Though made for the US market, the gun is still made to European standards. Europeans (so I am told) don't use substitute powders. For this gun to perform at its best, you need to use real black powder as it has a far lower ignition point than the substitutes and is more compatible with #11 caps.
The alternative, which I did, is to convert to musket caps. Since, I had problems getting black powder locally, the conversion solved my problems with the substitutes. The musket cap bases were a little wide to seat properly and I had to slim them down, but it wasn't that difficult.
So, the upshot is that this gun is great fun. It patterns like a dream. It is stylish and a real eye catcher. I am not any kind of traditionalist, I just wanted to shoot something that offered additional challenge and fun after fifty years of hunting."

"I couldn't be happier with the 2007 Christmas gift from the Mrs. This is an all around great shotgun. My six year old nephew thinks its cool and loud! I think he likes the smoke after the shot. I'm disabled and he retrieves the squirrels for me. We'll be out this spring in PA for turkey making memories! You shoot it...you clean it! It will function every time the trigger is pulled. Like with my 5.5, 44 caliber, new army-KEEP IT CLEAN!"

"Cabela's Black-powder shotgun provided an excellent start to the pheasant opening weekend. The traditional loading and shooting of the black powder shotgun in a hunt provided a competitive adventure, especially when the rest of the hunting party had the more contemperary shotguns. I was able to fill my limit and enjoy the feel and smell of black powder! Thank you for helping in this new venture. Black powder hunting has been an excellent exerience!"
