Wyoming Knife Blade,May 14, 2009
By rehafnerfrom Colorado
"If you don't own one of these you should. It is small, superior for skinning and about the best utility knife I ever owned. The blades are easy to change out and resharpen."

Wyoming knife and extra blades,February 20, 2008
By DiamondTfrom Bee County, Texas
"I have been a fan of the Wyoming knife for years as it is very easy to use and to clean. The ability to change the blades as needed keeps it always sharp. We own a ranch in south Texas and used the knife on 16 deer this year and it performed very well."

Good skinning blade!,May 22, 2007
By Cletis38AZfrom Chandler, AZ
"I used the Wyoming knife to skin my elk three years ago. It is very effective. I never enjoyed the experience of sharpening my knife in the field. With this thing you can just toss the blade in the trash when it gets dull, or save it to sharpen another day. Drop in the new blade and make easy work of dressing your hide. You do have to be a little careful of your hand positioning. I managed to cut a small slice into my finger. It was getting dark, cold and I was in a hurry. One of the best reasons not to rush skinning an elk. I do recommend at least 2 extra blades if you use it on an elk, just to be sure!"

Replacement blade for Wyoming Knife 5,October 27, 2006
By arthurfrom Arizona
"I have used this product on elk and deer. It makes the skinning and processing mush easier. The gut hook part makes opening up the cavity very easy, clean and quick. It keeps you from cutting any of the organs exposing the fluids onto your animal. The blades are able to be resharpened if you want but cheap enough to replace. Most blades have lasted through at least two complete elk gutting and skinning. Or at least 4 deer. Very effective. Saves time, money and and keeps the meat and clean. Allows you to use your other knives for the rest of the job. A word of CAUTION THEY ARE VERY SHARP. Use extreme caution as I have cut myself each time I have used this knife. Keep the protective point on the knife edge until you are ready to use it."
