The best skinning and gutting knife I have used,

"I bought my first Wyoming Knife over 25 years ago. It is the best ever of all knives, and I have use multiple ones. There is none better than the Wyoming Knife for gutting, skinning and Elk, Pronghorn, Deer, etc. I just lost mine and looking for a replacement. All you have to do is keep the stainless surgical blades clean and dry and they will last years. Oh, I just cleaned my buddies 5 point bull Elk here in Colorado with it. He was impressed and is ordering one."

"I used the Wyoming knife for the first time this year after a recommendation from a co-worker. Let me tell you this knife cut field dressing time in half. Be very careful!!! Make sure you put the guard on the knife side you are not using. I would recommend this to anyone.. Great Price Too!!!"

"The knife performed very well for field dressing nine whitetail deer this season. The "hook" blade is the best part, it quickly and neatly opens the abdomen. I suggest a regular knife for cutting around the end of the intestine."

"I have used a Wyoming knife for the field dressing of many big game animals for many years. It has always performed well. I purchased two more for my sister and brother-in-law; both are also avid hunters. It is light-weight, compact, and easily gets into tight places during the cleaning process. I use one blade per animal; the replacement blades are resonably priced and well worth it. This is a tool that every hunter should have."

"This is probably the best "gadget" I have ever used. I had the original metal handle, and can't find it, so I just ordered the new one. I had to field dress a deer this year without it, and realized how good this knife really is. Once you use it, you won't want to field dress a deer without it!"

"I bought my knife in the mid 1990's. It is the metal handled one and has a tooled leather sheath. I also bought a spare blade for it. My hunting buddy and I have cleaned many Whitetail Deer with it. The more we used it, the more ways we found to use it. I have only sharpened the blade one time in all these years and don't know where my spare blade is now. I highly recommend this product. I use to carry three different knives when I would go hunting, now only one. I even bought my buddy one for Christmas one year, but we all ways wind up using mine. But doesn't work well on rabbits or squirrels, but it can be done."
