"These knives were extremely sharp right out of the sheath! I used the Alpha Wolf and Cub Bear knives for the first time on a Coues WT two days ago. The knives cleaned and skinned the WT with little effort on my part! My fingers did not get tired at all! I cleaned the knives with ease in warm water and dish soap. I went to touch up the knives with the diamond sharperner that came with the sheath, but the knives didn't dull at all! The knives are extremely light, well balanced and ergonomical to handle. The sheath is compact and fits easily into my day pack. This knife combo contains the only 2 knives you need for the field. This is the last pair of field knives that I will ever need to purchase."

"I have used a number of their knives and they are wonderful. The muskrat all the way up to the large cleever are great hunting choices for caping and skinning. I have used them on Grizzly, Timber Wolf, Moose, Elk and Deer."

"This Knife exceeded my expectations. I have purchased cheaper knives in the past to save a buck, and now I don't even use them. If I had to choose only one knife for field dressing, caping ect. it would have to be my Alpha Wolf Knife. The S30V steel is superior to anything I've ever used. I field dressed and butchered an antelope without ever sharpening. After I finished that job, I was thoroughly impressed. I hit it on my diamond stone a few strokes, and it was ready for the 500 lb. Elk Cow I downed the next day."

"I was so impressed with my brother having the the cub bear and the (I forget the name) knife with the gut hook that looks like a small ax. I used his a few times and for my birthday, I got the wolf, cub combo. I used it immediately to cut up some steaks from a pig I just harvested. I was extremely happy with its ease of use and cutting abilities.
I am happy with the product, would recommend this to anyone and am also pleased with it being made in the USA.

"This combo set of the alpha wolf and cub bear was just what I needed to add to my finest collection of Knives.
Did not take long to see they were just what I needed due to a rt arm inury. I found they work great with my left hand, and the beautiful leather sheath can be carried on the right or left hip and still have fast and quick access if you need it.
Keep a eye open for the Cabela's only exclusive's deals, with these exclusive's, you may find combo's of knives of alaska thru Cabela's that you will not find anywhere else.
I am enjoying this set and you will too !!!"

"Didn't actually use the knife as I returned it immediately upon receipt. While some might find the smallish size and lack of heft appealing, it felt clumsy in my hand and likely to slip when covered with fluid. Granted my hands are considered XL, but I could foresee a easily self-inflicted cut. Additionally, the shealth was oversized and quality unfitting of the knife."
