The Alpha Wolf Drop-Point Hunter is a formidable field-dressing knife that is constructed
from D2 tool steel. High-carbon D2 tool steel is double drawn, fully annealed and cryogenically treated at
-200°F for superior edge retention. Melonite finish on the 3-3/4" blade enhances durability and
aesthetic appeal. The Suregrip rubber handle ensures a firm hold on the knife while working. Overall
length is 7-7/8".
The Cub Bear is a lightweight caping knife with finger notches in front of the rubber handle
to provide precise control. Overall length is 6-1/2" with a 2-3/4" cutting edge. Premium leather sheath
included.

"The Alpha Wolf is everything I expected. Handy size, razor sharp. But it is S30V, not D2. Not a problem for me, but something to be aware of. Used it this year to help me butcher a doe. Worked great, and still shaved afterward, although there was minimal bone impact with the blade during the work. The only part of the system that is not top-notch is the sheath. It should be a flap sheath, with the size and shape of this knife. Not one with a velcro strap around the grip area, as this sheath in-fact is. Other than that, I don't have a bad thing to say about it. The sheath cost it a 5-star rating."

"I got these knives as a Christmas gift from my beautiful wife and kids. I killed and field dressed a buck 1/1/10, last weekend of hunting season. These knives worked great, had no problems at all. These knives will be special to me because this was the first time I killed and field dressed a deer all by myself. The only draw back was dragging the deer out of the woods alone was a real experience."

"I bought it in Oct 2009. I think because of the S30V. just Used it recently to dress a cow and a goat.
Can't believe it, I have a knive like this. Sharp and no need to resharpen. its hold the edge very very well. And some more, I can dress it fast and no need to use so much energy.
The problem is the sheath. good looking sheath but i think i afraid i will lost the knife when hiking inside the jungle."

"The item was exactly what I was looking for, actually even better than expected. The quality was better than I have found anywhere else. The sheath quality is excellent, and strong. Large belt loop to fit any size belt, strong snap holds knives in place with out worrying about falling out. It was not bulky while wearing or over weighted. The blades are sharpened to a fine edge & sharp! Handles are tough & perfectly fit to a hand grip. Can't wait to gut something !"

"These knives were extremely sharp right out of the sheath! I used the Alpha Wolf and Cub Bear knives for the first time on a Coues WT two days ago. The knives cleaned and skinned the WT with little effort on my part! My fingers did not get tired at all! I cleaned the knives with ease in warm water and dish soap. I went to touch up the knives with the diamond sharperner that came with the sheath, but the knives didn't dull at all! The knives are extremely light, well balanced and ergonomical to handle. The sheath is compact and fits easily into my day pack. This knife combo contains the only 2 knives you need for the field. This is the last pair of field knives that I will ever need to purchase."

"This Knife exceeded my expectations. I have purchased cheaper knives in the past to save a buck, and now I don't even use them. If I had to choose only one knife for field dressing, caping ect. it would have to be my Alpha Wolf Knife. The S30V steel is superior to anything I've ever used. I field dressed and butchered an antelope without ever sharpening. After I finished that job, I was thoroughly impressed. I hit it on my diamond stone a few strokes, and it was ready for the 500 lb. Elk Cow I downed the next day."

"I was so impressed with my brother having the the cub bear and the (I forget the name) knife with the gut hook that looks like a small ax. I used his a few times and for my birthday, I got the wolf, cub combo. I used it immediately to cut up some steaks from a pig I just harvested. I was extremely happy with its ease of use and cutting abilities. I am happy with the product, would recommend this to anyone and am also pleased with it being made in the USA.

"Didn't actually use the knife as I returned it immediately upon receipt. While some might find the smallish size and lack of heft appealing, it felt clumsy in my hand and likely to slip when covered with fluid. Granted my hands are considered XL, but I could foresee a easily self-inflicted cut. Additionally, the shealth was oversized and quality unfitting of the knife."
