"The maps in the atlas are not very detailed. The roads and trails depicted are accurate however the topographical lines are nearly impossible to read. If you want a map to help you get somewhere by road or trail, this may be a good investment. If your hoping to use it for hiking or hunting, it's not worth the money."

"First of all, this product was back ordered for three weeks. Then when I finally got the map, I wasn't that impressed. I bought the Texas map, and it really didn't have the features I was expecting. I want a military style, topographic map, and this is nothing more than a glorified road map!"

"Very pleasant expeience. I had some problems activating A gift card from A alternate gift card co. accepted by Cabela's. So I contacted Cabela's live help service and they helped me get squared away with no trouble at all. As for the DeLorme topo map it's not bad, although I would'nt use it for back country navigation. But for all other purposes for finding special intrests and recreation I highly recommend it."

"I bought the DeLorme New York booklet, and was pleased to find the scale excellent for rough planning and exploring. The Adirondacks are displayed better that any other map short of close up Topo maps from USGS."

"The DeLorme State Topographic Atlas is a wonderful tool to use while travelling, hunting, hiking, or scouting out a new spot to set up a tree stand. It provides detailed information on back roads, forested areas vs. open areas, ground contours and overall topography. Unlike the electronic navigational tools, this atlas will stay open as long as you need and you don't have to worry about batteries or satellite positions.

The only change I would recommend is having the elevations shown in feet instead of meters. (I noticed this in the NY Atlas.)"

"This is a very difficult map to follow. The topographic lines are too, too light and the contour interval is too high. I have a lot of experience working with topographic maps and would not recomend this set of maps."

"Exquisite Detail. If you are drivin down the road in the middle of nowhere and you see a road, it's on this map. The only thing Delorme Needs to do is make each page waterproof. I have a jeep and sometimes I get rained on. This is about the 5th one of these things I've bought. I often just read it at night."
