"I bought the Zodi Hot camp shower as my girlfriend wouldn't camp anywhere without a shower. The five of us used it every night for five days, no problems. "I took the Zodi shower to our first camp out this year. The unite worked perfect for the first six to eight showers. then I had problems with the gas valves not working. That created colder showers. I have sent the unite back to be replaced with a new one. The shower works great when it was working. When it was working I would give it a 4 to 5 star rating. I will review this unit again when I recieve my new one."

"I used the Zodi single burner over fathers day weekend and was totally disappointed. Very low flow from the pump (change batteries twice) flow was more like drips and steam, the supply hose becomes soft at the heating coil, which causes it pinch close and leak. My entire camp work on the thing without much improvement. We all wanted a hot shower but after it was all said and done, our shower was a cold one with a 5 gallon bucket and cup."

"We bought the single burner unit last year to take with us on camping trips to the desert to use in our Cabelas shower shelter and it has been great. The unit was a bit pricey but well worth the extra added conveniance of a shower in the middle of nowhere.
I only have a few complaints, all of which are minor. For starters, our first unit had to be returned because the carrying case had a hole in it and was our only way of carrying the water. The other issue is with the small black plastic tubes that connect to the copper piping of the main unit. The black tubing worked its way off with only a few uses and had to be repaired with a pair of hose clamps. Also, the small wire that leads to the spark button lost its insulation becuase of the warmth during use and I had to replace it with a small piece of heat shrink. Lastly, during a recent use I noticed that the water simply stopped pumping and it was because the impeller broke free from the motor shaft. I was able to take it apart and fix it with some marine glue. All of these were minor problems that had simple fixes.
I have read several reviews for this product and I see that the common complaints are that it does not heat well enough and that the pressure is too weak. For starters, the water warms just fine for me. If the water is colder you simply cycle the water through the unit a few times and it gets to where you want it. The colder the water is to start with, the longer it may take to warm, but really not a big deal. As for the pressure, I never understood those complaints because it is made this way by design. If the pressure were any greater it would not have the ability to warm the water and it would use up the four gallon bucket too quickly. If you expect to have a shower just like at home, you will be greatly dissapointed but this is not the intention of this unit. I feel that the pressure of the pump is more than enough to take a full shower and rinse effectively.
All in all I would say that this is a good product for the price but it needs to be made with some better quality parts. I still have not found anything that really compares to this unit, especially for its price."

"This Zodi camp shower with a single burner simply was not hot . It did fine with tap water, but when it came to cold mountain creek water simply did not get hot. The battery powered pump was also very weak. I was way better off heating my water over the fire and pumping the water with a bilge pump and car battery."

"Myself and a group of friends used the hot shower on a trip to West Virginia for camping and 4wheeling. When we got back to camp needless to say we were pretty muddy. There was eight of us using it dailey and it was wonderful. Everyone really enjoyed it and I never had to change the gas bottles which amaized me. I would recomend it to anyone."

"Heats water very fast! and HOT! the only problem is low water pressure, Had to put the water on buckets so I had enough water pressure to shower. which still had low pressure but I was able to take a shower. With the water container on the ground it would just trickle out of the hose end, raised it to half the distance to the shower head, was much better. The pump needs to be stronger."

"We do a lot of camping and were very excited when we bought this unit in order to have warm showers. It worked perfectly the first year and heated so well that you could see steam coming out of the shower enclosure. We are now into year two and we can't get it to warm the water at all (we even tried recirculating it which we didn't do last year). The quality is not there."

"Just bought two of the Cablea's Shower enclosures and 2 - 2 burner units for our deer camp in Nebraska. Just got back from work on camp, and what a refreshing addition the zodi units and the larger cabelas shower enclosures are! All worked great, and everyone working on camp last weekend raved about having the showers on site! Unit is not equiped with long enough hoses and can be easily adapted for a few bucks and a quick stop at the hardware store.
