"Real nice, cooks a pot in 11 min. if u start with a high flame. Turn flame way down when it starts to perc or it will over flow. Dump out the last inch of coffee as it will have grounds in it, like all percolaters!"

"This is by far the best camp coffee pot I have ever used. Great looking, cool touch feature is a time (and finger) saver. Not made of cheap aluminum pot metal, that's for sure. I bought one for my hunting camp, once I got it in my hands I immediately ordered another for my travel trailer and several others to use as gifts. It's that nice. Thanks again Cabelas for providing gear that I can depend on when I'm in a cold weather hunting camp."

"I use my 9 cup coffee pot mainly to boil water for tea in my home. I can fit the pot directly under the spigot for the filtered water on my fridge door which is much more convenient than my conventional teapot. It is small for a 9 cup pot so if you need coffee for nine you will need a larger pot it will make enough liquid for 3 to 4 people. It is well made. I have not come across any flaws in the structure."

"When I ordered this it was on backorder, so I wasn't surprised when it arrived from China. Thin stainless steel, lid is attached to the pot , basket is attached to standard making cleaning difficult. What can you expect, we make nothing in this country anymore. It does make good coffee but I wouldn't use it over a campfire."

"We have owned the 12 cup pot for years and it makes the best coffee. We make coffee each morning on our deck using the side burner on the gas grill. Great product. I also purchased a 26 cup pot for my hunting camp. It is great too but I wish it had the cup markings like the 12 cup pot has"

"There is something about grinding your own coffee beans, its fresh and the aroma of it percolating is awesome. It makes waiting for your coffee worth it.
The clear top is just what I wanted, so I can watch the color. The pot itself rinses clean no soap even necessary. I would certainly suggest this to anyone that is looking for a good old fashioned percolator. It is worth it."

"This is a great stainless coffee pot for 3 mugs of hot java.
This pot is the essence of "wake-up and smell the coffee" When it perks the smell of coffee fills the kitchen--very nice
It is the perfect size for me, and makes great coffee. The stay cool handle works great. It is easy to clean. I think the perked coffee is hotter and has more flavor than electric drip machines. get one!"

"The coffee pot, is really well made. Good wall thickness. Not too thick, not too thin. It's nice to get back to REAL perked coffee, not drip coffee. Drip coffee might be easier, but perked coffee tastes so much better. I can see this pot lasting for many years. Worth every penny I paid for it."

"Unfortunately I can only rate this coffee pot as being fair. Yes, it works, but the quality of construction leaves much to be desired. The internal perking basket lid does not fit down against the basket properly, nor does the actual lid of the pot fit snuggly as you would expect. If I used the pot primarily for percolating coffee it would be returned. Not up to the quality standards I expect from Cabela for the price."

"A few years ago I purchase two (2) six (6) cup coffee pots. The problem is that the pot's plastic top fail with repeated use. In yesteryear the tops of percolating coffee pots were glass. Depending how often the pot is use it will only last a few years. Glass tops are the way to go."

"Very good quality. Used it the first time to make hot chocolate for the Boy Scouts. put the mix in the normal percolator and scalded some milk in the pot. perfect. cleaned up nicely. The cool handle was easy to pick up even when hot. Very good price.
