"I wish it had marks on the inside for the water lever,i.e. 1/4, 1/2, full pot.
Otherwise works well. I've only used it 4 or 5 times but it seems like it will hold up to many years of use."

"morning coffee is the start of a new day-- especially camping or on the road..it needs to be celebrated as such . . perc is the best , not drip or instant. . My 12 cup coffee pot is the best percolater ever made. . i have used it in all fire/heat conditions , and it has cooked up some of the best coffee ever drank , each pot is better than the last.. . . it looks like jewelry sitting on my shinney stove and i use silicone spray to keep it in better than new condition. . need the 12 cup because it has been known to attract others in the camping area.. nice work ya'll .. thanks"

"I've only had the chance to use the Cabela's stainless steel high temp coffee pot once since buying it, but it worked great. It's rugged and durable, made great coffee, and I see no obvious reason it won't last for many more camping & fishing trips. I'd recommend this to a friend."

"I have camped for MANY years and every morning is all about the liquid gold. This coffee pot brews coffee quickly unlike my other camp coffee pot that makes the same amount of cups. Just fill the coffee basket, add the water, sit back and within 20 minutes you are sipping delicious coffee. Some good points about this pot is that the lid is attached with a hinge. Therefore, when you are pouring the coffee, you do not have to hold onto the lid which can be awkward when you are holding a large pot full of boiling coffee. This also prevents losing the lid. There is also the upper handle which is helpful to carry the pot off the hot burner which can be hard to manage with one wrist when the pot is full. I especially like the clear knob on top which allows me to know how strong the coffee is by color, rather than having to pour a small amount to taste it. I would have given this pot 5 stars except for the price. It was a little more than I thought was fair for a coffee pot, but the brew is fast and as strong as you want it to be compared to others I have tried, so I was willing to part with my money. It did take me two years to finally go for it. If you camp a lot, and take care of it, eventually you should get a return. Happy and safe camping to all!"

"Great coffee pot. I took the perk unit out and just boiled the coffee and it made supper coffee. Only problem was it was to small I should have bought the larger one as everyone said how good the coffee was and they kept emptying my pot."

"The large and sturdy camping coffee pot is stupendous. What is hard is that I've been unable to find the paper filters that will fit the basket...........now I know you can make coffee without the paper filter, but that's not how my group likes to do coffee.

"We totally love this coffee pot. We purchased coffee beans from our grocery store and used a course grind and it was perfect. Great coffee, plenty for two coffee drinkers who love camping. Very well constructed and really nice looking too. The coffee bag is really nice for storage. Great gift idea!!

"A good purchase! My two friends and I participated in a week long giant trevally shoreline fishing tournament on Hawai'i's Big Island. The 14-cup size was okay for the three of us. "I purchased (2) 28 cup stainless steel coffee pots. When I received them one had a broken glass top. I sent it back promptly, because it was to be a gift. I must say that I did receive the new pot within the expected 2 weeks. Unfortunately, by the time I got the replacement, the glass had already broken in the second one. When I pay a decent price for a quality item, I must say, I certainly expect better quality. The glass in both coffee pots was broken within 7 days of using (under normal use)."

"THIS COFFEE POT IS GREAT IT MAKES THE BEST COFFEE. MY NEIGHBORS COME OVER ON WEEKENDS JUST FOR COFFEE. THAT WAS UP TILL NOW THE GLASS KNOB CRACKED AND I CANT FIND A REPLACMENT FOR IT. IT HAS ONLY A ONE YEAR WARANTY AND THEY DONT CARRY REPLACMENTS FOR THEM. ITS THE ONLY PIECE ON THE POT THAT IS REPLACABLE SO THEY NEED TO GET REPLACMENTS IN STOCK FOR THIS."
