cool little dry bag.,December 30, 2008
By BigBennyBoyfrom Taylor County, Florida
"I've always been afraid to take my GPS with me on my kayak, until now. The front is easy to see through, and the material is thin enough to allow you to operate your electronics without removing them fropm the bag. I wear it around my neck while kayaking, and never worry about getting my GPS unit wet. (Also great for holding licenses, or whatever you need to keep dry.)"

"WE TOOK THIS KWIK DRY PAK WITH US ON A RECENT TRIP TO BELIZE WHERE WE CAVE TUBED AND TO ROATAN FOR SNORKELING. NOT ONLY DID IT KEEP OUR STUFF DRY,BUT IT WAS LIGHT WEIGHT ENOUGH TO WEAR AROUND YOUR NECK FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WANTING TO KEEP SOMETHING SMALL (like your money, keys, cigs)DRY."

waterproof pouch,November 29, 2006

"A Great item to keep the GPS dry while it's stormy weather. All controls can be used through the pouch so no need to open it up and get the unit out."

KWIK dry pak OK, but,November 20, 2006
By JREDfrom Highland Park, NJ
"The opening at the top to put the item into pak is a little narrow and the interior surface is a high friction plastic. So it's quite difficult to push an item like a camera or GPS into the pouch all the way down so that you can close the top properly. Once all the way down, the locking system sometimes requires a couple of tries before it locked and sealed properly. If you are the paranoid type, you'll check this a couple of times if your really going to be submersing this in water for a short time period. Also, for large and heavy items, the lanyard is not that useful if you want to hang it around your neck. It's uncomfortable. I would say that the larger sizes are really for keeping something waterproof that you plan to carry in a backpack. Not clear that you can really manipulate things like a GPS when it's inside a pouch like this. However, based on the price and what is out there, I guess it does what it's supposed to do. Would be better if someone made a pouch that was molded in the shape of GPS or a camera where it was possible to manipulate the buttons easier and was in a sandwich design the allowed it to be put in and out of the waterproof pouch easier."
