"I was concerned about this pistol not being loud enough because it uses primers instead of 22 blanks. No problem there. I would recommend hearing protection because it's so loud and 1/2 the price to shoot compared to 22 blanks. The casting of the frame is not of the highest quality but because it does not shoot live ammo this might not be a problem."

"I have shot 30 rounds through this pistol and the hammer has broken. Product starts out working well, but fails quickly. The hammer should be made of steel, not pot-metal."

"I have used this pistol to assist with the training of my 13 month old lab to the report of fired gun. It has worked very well and I would highly recommend it to others who are looking for a way to intorduce young dogs to the report of gun fire during training."
