"The B-Square Shotgun Scope Mount I purchased and installed is an inferior product as designed. The mount is aluminum and the mounting screws are steel which secure into the threaded aluminum. Bad combination especially with the recoil of magnum loads. Had to find longer screws and steel nuts to actually secure the mount. B-Square needs to re-engineer this product."

"I attached the mount to a Mossberg Maverick. It installed very easy and quickly. I have not been able to see how it holds up under fire, but it seems very durable."

"I was anxious to use this to put a red dot scope on a Mossberg 835 for turkey season. The mounting screws were not tapped deep enough and were of poor quality. The supplied allen wrench was the same. I was disappointed as I have a BSquare scope mount on a handgun that has performed well for over 15 years. This new scope mount was NOT of the same quality.
I have returned the product for refund."

"THE FIRST MOUNT I RECEIVED WAS MISSING THE SCREWS AND THE RINGS, CABELA'S SENT ME A SECOND MOUNT. THIS ONE CAME COMPETE. BUT WHILE INSTALLING THE INSIDE SCREW THE HEAD STRIPED OUT THAT HOLDS THE MOUNT TO THE RECEIVER. I CALLED B-SQUARED AND THEY ARE SENDING ME MORE SCREWS.. JAMES"

"Overall, very well made with close tolerances for the fit. Mounted it on my Ithaca 37, converted to a turkey gun. It's a nice inexpensive option for mounting a scope without going to the gunsmith for drilling and tapping."

"Just got my mount today, very fast shipping by the way, only 2days. Gave this 3, but only cause I've not yet tested the product on range. I had alittle trouble with the smaller of the screw pins at first, but after some fulling around with it I got it to go in. I'm hoping it's tight, my allen wrenches would not fit the heads of the screws very well, will try another set of wrenches to make sure. I'll try and give another review after I get a chance to take it out to the range."

"i dont know if this mount is going to work the screws strip out real easy and if you get them tight the the gun will not work. i put it on a rem 1100. and the edege is very sharp it will cut your finger. i put lock tight on the screws and got the screws as tight as could go and have the gun still work. dont know if they will stay tight .ask me later."

Screws to short.,

"I bought this mount to put on my Benelli Nova. When I received the mount and tried to install it I found that the screw that installs in the front was to short and if I used the washer they sent for the back screw(per instructions)it was also to short. I called B-Square and told them about the problem. I asked for a couple longer screws. When I received the screws in the mail they were the exact same length as the ones I already had. I still haven't got this mount on my gun. I was very disappointed with the fit of this mount."

"I was amazed at how easy it installed on my Ithaca 37. I was sighting in within 30 minutes of getting it. It has been through a lot of rough treatment this gun season and is still rock solid."

"I had trouble with this mount coming loose after a couple of shots.. I called the 800 no. on the package they refered me to
an engineer I told him about the problem.. and I suggested that
I grind an indent in the eccentrics where the set screws meet
the eccentrics..
"He said that idea has merit"... When I had the eccentrics where I thought they should be I scratched a mark so I new the exact spot to grind.. then
I ground about a 1/8 in.
U in the eccentrics put loctite on the new set screws they sent
me and tightened them in...I have fired 15 rounds of 3 in. mags the mount has not moved....I am happy.... shot a 3 in.
group at 100 yrds....using a red dot scope..."

"I did not give a good rating because i felt the scope
mount was not well made.The theads in the mount
stripped as i was installing without putting any tork
on the screws.The material used is to soft to tap
and thread.I have one on my rem-870 for about
12 years and it is a much better product.B-SQUARE
needs to stick to the older process"

"I purchased this mount for my Remington 1100, 12 gauge shotgun. It is very easy to mount. It installs in minutes without special tools and provides a solid base for your scope. The important thing to remember is that the barrel to receiver fit must be tight ! Otherwise this mount won't help your accuracy. If the fit is good, this mount is perfect."

"Instalation was easy and required no tools. I used the supplied screws as a punch to remove the assembly pins. the mount looks great on the gun and the design is very functional. when I tightened the screws down though, the mount got stripped out. it seems that b square used very cheap aluminium and you can't really tighten the screws properly. if you try to just finger tighten the screws you'll end up knocking them loose by the second or third shot. do not buy this for your nova I don't know if they use the same material on all the other models. they should divide these product reviews for the gun they were made for."
