Dream come true,September 21, 2009
By Franz30from Colorado Springs, Colorado
"I really cannot discribe the absolute joy it is to fire this fine weapon and its accuracy is unparraled for a black powder handgun. I also love the knock down power of the 44. It handles most if not all small to medium size game in North America. Hats off to a great product."

Nice gun,December 24, 2008
By richr07
"I ordered the carbine thinking it was made by Pietta, but it is made by Uberti, so I returned it. Did not see anything in the description about the brand or maker when I ordered it. Not that Uberti is bad, just wanted a Pietta. It is a beautiful gun, maybe a little overpriced."

Cabela's Cattleman's Carbine .44 Revolver with Sta,September 29, 2008
By squeezie
"Nicely made, but you have to understand that this is a glorified pistol, not a rifle ..... and has to be used accordingly. Unlike a rifle, both hands should be on the trigger side of the action when firing, as pointed out in the enclosed warning sheet ... otherwise a chain fire may lose you a few fingers. Had just the weapon alone been in stock I would have ordered that; the starter kit has a few nice accessories, but you'll still need powder, caps and for appearances sake at least.... a better powder horn, than the cheap plastic one included."

By AS1966from Phillipsburg NJ
"I took this gun to the range the day after I got it. It shoots well looks good, and is fun to shoot. I would recommend this gun. Also you can buy a 45lc conversion cylinder for it, that works great. It's well worth the money i just might buy another."
