"The first time I used the bullet pouch the rivet ripped out from the leather. The leather is way too stiff, and does not allow the flap to open from the latch that is rivited on. The only reason I did not return it is I plan to have a snap put on it so I can still use it."

"This seems to be a modified hand cuff holder, and the belt loop is a bit small. I think the overall size of a good bullet pouch would be a little bigger than your offering, but it gets the job done pretty well."

Buttonhole Far Too Tight-- Button Unsupported,February 29, 2008

"The leather and construction are very good, but the brass "button" is mounted with no support. It took so much pressure to button down the flap that the button instead just pushed the leather around. I thought about sewing in a panel to reinforce the button, but my solution was to enlarge the buttonhole on the flap. Only then was it remotely possible to close the flap with one hand. With the variability of leather, this may not be a regular problem. Otherwise the unit, made by Triple K, is a very handy size for carrying 50+ .454" balls, and it looks great. I would recommend it, but with reservations."

"This product was of excellent quality. The quality of the leather and the color was exactly what I was looking for. The leather pouch matched the holster and belt that I was going to use it with. While this product was designed for lead balls I am using it to hold cartridge ammo, it works great."
