From the Iditarod trail to the treestand, these boots have proven they are true cold-weather performers.
A 13mm Texel® removable liner reflects heat inward to minimize loss. Beneath that, the Moisture
Trap footbed wicks away perspiration and condensation. A 1/2" layer of EVA foam, coupled with the
nylon-covered Phylon midsole, puts 3" of cold-blocking material between your feet and the ground.
The tough, flexible vamps are protected by a triple-layer, abrasion-resistant toe guard, and the rubber
toe cap ensures longer wear. These boots have a reflective, lightweight waterproof shell with
lightweight, reflective nylon shafts. Radiantex™ reflective coating. The 8" liner allows for pants
inside the boots, and the rip-stop nylon gaiter has a cord-locked drawcord to keep out snow. They're
easy to tighten, thanks to a one-pull ball bearing lacing system. Inside, a heat pack pocket allows you
to insert toe warmer heat packs. Height: 15". Average weight: 5.8 lbs./pair. Men's whole sizes: 7-13.

Awesome Boots!!,October 31, 2009
By StefanieHfrom Idaho
"I've had my boots going on 7 years now and they are still in great shape...still like new and I wear them every winter. These are hands down the best pair of boots for ice and snow I've ever owned. I originally bought these out of frustration with another pair (well known brand) of "snow" boots. I was constantly slipping and sliding on both snow and ice, my feet were always cold. I decided to give these a try...my feet have never once been cold. I get great traction on both snow and ice. You will not be disappointed with these boots and if I could give these a higher than 5 star rating I would."

A boot to fall in love with,June 24, 2009
By sparkyrivercamperfrom Yukon Canada
"Pure comfort. I put a orthopedic insole in and I can work all day in -40. These are the easiest laces to do up, along with the most superb grip sole that doesn't get hard in the cold. Ive drawn up the strings and forded icebound creeks without any water leaks in the whole boot. Light, tough, and durable. simply the best Ive ever worn in all conditions."

would seem to keep warm,May 5, 2009
By Shinneyfrom Marion, IN.
"I had to send the boots back, because they were too small,so if you wear heavey socks then I would order a size bigger. I will order the boots again when they get the size in that I feel that would fit me. I feel that these boots would keep my feet very warm while in the tree stand or ground blind for hours."

Trans-Alaska III Pac Boot,April 20, 2009
By n13008from Eagle River, Alaska
"I'm a musher and a woman who lives in Alaska. I've run dogs for over 20 years in a variety of boots in conditions ranging from deep snow to ice, to overflow. I'm always looking for something that's light weight, warm, water-proof, and durable. This boot has those features. It is, however, made for a man's foot. I ordered the smallest size made (men's 7) which fit in all except width. My fond hope is that soon Cabela's will make this quality boot to fit a woman's foot. Many Alaskan women mush, snow machine, and do outdoor sports at temperatures to -50F. We need the same quality of gear that the men enjoy.
I also had the opportunity to wear your one piece mushing suit (that Jeff King uses). Again it was made for a man and, though it was an excellent piece of equipment, it didn't fit me right. Once more I wish you would make this quality of gear sized for women. Another wonderful addition would be a zippered drop seat. I'm 5 ft 3 and weigh 120 pounds. Would love to buy this suit in a woman's size. Please consider making some of your more rugged gear for women. We too do extreme sports in the outdoors.
"Excellent boot....in zero degree weather plus wind chill & didn't have anything but warm dry feet. This is just using the boot w/o foot warmers."

Awesome Boots,February 24, 2009
By Barnziefrom NE, Ohio
"These boots are "Uber" warm. Very comfortable fit and also give you a new outlook on life, from a slightly higher vantage point. Approx. 3" lift allowed me to look the taller guys in the eye for a change.
One minor issue was the liners. Not the best sewing job at the booty to sole seam. Right foot had a open seam issue, that was solved quickly by customer service. Problems inevitably arise when you sell so many products. The sign of a truly reputable company is how you solve those issues when they crop up. Kudos to Cabela's for excellent service."

Warm and Toasty,February 23, 2009
By argee57
"I live in Michigan where the winters can get pretty brutal and being an avid Ice Fisherman warm feet is important. I've had a pair of Mickey Mouse boots for a little over 30 years. Knew I would have to replace them soon due to wear. Thought I would never find a boot that could compare. Well I did. My Trans-Alaska boots are as warm and much more comfortable than my Mickey Mouse boots. If these hold up as long as they did it will be one of the best investments I've ever made in outdoor gear. I would highly recommend these boots for warmth and comfort."

Great Boots!,February 17, 2009
By KashabowieLadyfrom Thunder Bay, Ontario
"I recently purchased these boots and have had no complaints with them. They suggested the next size up, which was true, and they are warm and live up to ice-fishing expectations! Easy to do up and are comfortable. Takes a little getting used to the "clunkier" boot, but it's not a biggie when your feet stay warm and dry."

Awesome Boots,February 9, 2009
By Isom57260from Rosholt, SD
"I would highly recommend these to serious ice fisherman and by serious I am saying when you go its 8 hours plus in the extremes. I wouldnt go without them. I have put 100+ hours on my boots and have not even had a thought of cold, 25+ inches of ice and -20+ temps they have held up great. As with other reviews if fishing clear ice without snow I recommend a good pair of cleats as these are skates other wise. Above twenty degree weather I would almost recommend no socks at all as these are definately heaters.
WTG cabelas on a very capable product, selling stuff a consumer can trust in is very admirable in this economic climate."

The Warmest Boot For Your Money,February 6, 2009
By undercover75from Upstate, NY
"I have to admit, I was a little taken back by the size of the box. But when I strapped these babies on - heaven. I've had other "snowmobile" boots that couldn't withstand those temperatures for more than a couple of hours. Snowmobiling in upstate New York in minus degree conditions while moving at 50mph - not a hint of a chill. You're not going to win any beauty contents or dance the jig (these babies are massive), I am willing to sacrifice vanity for the sake of warmth."

Trans-Alaska III Pac Boot,February 5, 2009

"I have always gotten cold feet within an hour of working outside in the cold weather (while wearing 4 pairs of socks). Since purchasing the Trans-Alaska Pac III Boot I have NOT had red stinging feet (and I only have to wear 1 pair of socks!). Though the boots are hard to get on and off."
