"Great holster. Good quailty, thick leather. It comes pretty stiff but just use some leather oil (the kind you use for baseball mits) work it in and it will soften it up.
Another reviewer said to put it in warm water. Great way to ruin leather and I wouldn't do it unless I was starving and had to eat it."

"This is a solid built quality holster. I've owned it for 7 years, and it is one tough holster. The leather is of high grade that will hold its shape and support these heavy 1860 army colts. The brass snaps are of high quality and endures much use...................................................................................... Not like many holsters of this price range that are to thin and flimsy with cheap hardware. This is a very good buy."

"this is my second one of these holsters i've bought. You can't beat them for the money. You'll probably find out that they won't fit right out of the box. The remedy for this is to soak them in hot water, wrap your pistol in plastic and then force pistol into holster and then let the holster dry with the gun in it.The gun should now fit the gun."
