"Very good quality. Reasonable price. I did have to oil it up a bit to make it softer but that's true with all such leather goods. It fits my model 1851 .44 like a glove. Very good product and I would recommend it highly."

"I bought two of these to carry 1851 colts. Well the leather was too soft and the guns sank too low in the holsters. On top of that the threading on one of the holsters didnt make it through 20 draws. I took it down town and had it sewn back up but I wound up just having some real holsters custom made for me with better grade leather.
My 7 year old son now uses them with his toy guns. That is all they are rated for im sure.......toys.
They are cheap and I understand you get what you pay for but a little more workman ship could have made them a tad better.
The leather is too oily too."

"This holster works great for my 1860 Colt Army. Leather is a bit stiff and needs forming to the pistol, but once thats done its a fit as good as the spendier rigs. Could use a hammer thong, but its easy enough to add one yourself. Definatly not a fastdraw rig, but serves it purpose as a carry holster."
