Good Cover,

"Overall this is a good cover...but doesnt work well for the application i intended it for : ) I installed a custom rear winch on my Polaris Sportsman 500 and used the cover to keep a lot of mud off of it. It worked ok...but was a little big and was hard to secure properly. On a side note...gave it to a friend who has it on the front winch on his Polaris Razr...works perfectly. So can honestly say its a good buy...and well constructed."

"Bought this to cover a winch I already had mounted on a Gator. I had to turn cover around backwards but it fit nice and strapped down good with the velcrow."

"I bought it to cover a Warn 2500 installed on a Grizzly 700. It was ill fitting for this application but I made it work. The description was not specific as to fit. It needs to be a little bigger."

"I sent mine back for a refund. I couldn't get it to fit onto/around the winch. Probably a good idea, too, because with as much snow as we've gotten this year, I'd be continually taking it off and putting it on."

"ITS KINDA CHEESY. THE ONLY THING THAT HELD IT ON IS A VELCRO STRAP.
EVEN WITH MY WINCH IN THE REAR, I AM STILL CONCERNED IT WILL BOW OFF WITH ONLY A VELCRO STRIP HOLDING IT ON.
OH WELL,
I EXPECTED "MORE" FROM CABELAS........"

"I ordered the Cabela's soft winch cover, although the winch I own is not a cabela's brand winch. I was suprised to see that the cover fit fine and has protected my winch from the elements. The provided strap secured the cover tight to the winch. i drive on some highways to get get homeand the cover has not blown off or does not make noise. I was concerned about fading, but so far after about a month, the cover has resisted any fading."

"Im not sure if this is a must have but it looks nice and im sure it will help protect my winch. It fit ok and is fairly secure on the winch. I have a 2000# winch it might fit a little better on a little bit bigger winch. I would have like the fit to be better it seems just a little big for my winch but im sure it will sever its purpose.It does seem to be very well made and built to last awhile ."
