"We used the floating gun cases opening weekend of waterfowl season. I didn't have to carry a big shell bag to carry my choke tube case and calls and shells. I carried a small blind bag with my shells in it only. The water was deeper than we thought it would be and I dipped the case in a few times, and didn't realize it until we found it damp on the outside when we got to where we were setting up at. Everyone I know that went that day liked how they fold up and can be used as a seat if you want."

"I don't own a single Avery product that I have a complaint on. These guys are duck hunters and they know what they demand. I was sick and tired of trying to find a hiding spot to stick my gun case, now I fold this up and stick it right in my gear bag. Alot of complaints were of the barrell catching on the way in, I tend to hold the bag upside down and let my gun slide in, no complaints."

"I have never been happier w/ a product that could be purchased for such a reasonable price. Under $30 and nearly indestructable!!! Shoulder strap for freeing up hands while walking to the blind or favorite hunting spot, waterproof for those long wet grooling days standing in the decoys, and on top of that, a pocket for storage! Not to mention, avalible in my all time favorite camo pattern, so it blends in w/ the rest of my gear. I'm beyond impressed w/ my floating gun case from Cabellas!!!! Sincerely, A serious waterfowler"

"After receiving this case I put it to immediate use protecting my shotgun. I like the fact that it folds down, making it easier to find a place to store the case. The folding feature also can make it difficult to place your shotgun inside as the gun will hang up on the areas where the case folds. Also, to make the case fold the padding has been eliminated in two locations which could cause some problems if you need to protect you gun from damage."

"This product works extremely well. It has kept my gun dry during rain and snow and folds up nicely into a small space for storage. Which comes in handy in the blind and home. The carrying strap has a nice padded cushion that makes it very comfortable. Avery did a nice job thinking this one thru."

"This is an awesome case, but the "packable" design is not as good as the traditional case. The gun barrel gets caught on each section when you insert a shotgun. I am not sure the packable application is really necessary. Buy the case, but don't get this version that folds up."

"This case works great. I used in in several tight duck blinds, layed it flat on natural cover and concealment - it worked flawlessly. The velcro closure keeps water and dirt off my valued firearm. The side pocket comes in handy for extra choke tubes and a smuggled candy bar. I own several gun cases and this is the most versitle and dependable one I own."
