"I just bought this winch for my 09 grizzly 450 very easy to install. You just have to remove the front bumper to install it on the machine. the winch comes with every thing you need, all wires colored for easy assembly."

"I put a RT30 on my Rhino to work a snow plow. The sun gear broke after minimal use. I pulled the winch down and the sun gear was very small and fragil. warn has a good name but I wouldn't want to trust this winch in a bad bind."

"This new rt 2500 winch is a much quieter winch than the one that it replaces. The free bail lever is much easier to get ahold of with gloves on. The only problem is that it requires slight mods in the bolt holes on a 2004 polaris sportsman 500HO (hunters addition where the winch is installed by polaris). So far, I am very pleased with this winch and how much quieter and smoother it opperates."

"The winch worked great and was very easy to install. Took maybe an hour to wire up and bolt down. The only issue was a Warn mountin plate that said it was designed for the Grizzly. It didn't fit but the winch came with a plate that did the job. Used it extensively in Georgia mud and clay the next weekend. Has plenty of power to pull out just about anything. Top quality as always."

"I purchased my Warn winch from Cabalas last month and installed my new Warn winch (RT25) on my new Kawasaki Praire 360 4X4. I laid everything out on my garage work bench and I also read all directions first. I started by installing the winch and bracket first and then I installed all the wiring. It took around 4 hours from start to finish and it works perfect. This was the second warn winch I have owned and they have never let me down. I will buy another one the next time I purchase a new ATV. Thanks again Warn.
P/S I am a Aircraft Mechanic so my skill level may be better than some, but I think almost anyone that can read and follow direction should have very little problems installing a Warn winch. Thank you."

"This product rocks! In an afternoon I attaced the RT30 winch to my 1997 Polaris 425 Magnum 6X6 with the Cabelas universal winch mount. I also bought a winch saver. This winch is like having a team of Clydesdales attached to the font of my ATV pulling me from any "sticky" situation I've ever been in. I will admit you need to have a certain degree of mechanical and electrcal aptitude when installing this, but I found the directions easy to read and follow. Thanks Cabelas!"

"The installation instructions for the winch are extremely vague. It is a nightmare to install. Warn needs to provide a more detailed installation book for each specific ATV model. I did contact them and they sent me installation information for my model but even it was not complete. I really like the winch but would not have purchased it had I known how difficult it is to install."
