Excellent knife set,

"I've used this set for several years now on deer, antelope, and elk. I do all my own meat processing after years of searching for a great knife set I have come to the conclusion that this set is the best I have ever found."

Good knife,

"I bought this set a few years back and have used it on multiple deer and just finished using it on an elk. The knife is great and the gut hook opens both deer and elk like a zipper. I have used it to gut, butcher and skin game and it does equally well with all. The saw is a little flimsy and it takes quite a bit of effort to cut through heavily boned game like elk but it does OK with a deer. But the knife is worth any money you pay for it. I have a couple of high dollar knives and use this one instead."

"The caper and gut skinner is sharp and does the job easily but the saw wouldn't cut bone well. For the $, I would rather just get the knives only w/out the saw."

"Won't leave home without it...
The knife is just excelent quality and the perfect size. The caper is easy to handle and is of the same quality, and the saw... this saw is tough! It's sawed plenty of bone, and tree limbs, but it handles it with no problem. Sharpest saw I have ever had. Still sharp...
Quality... You can just tell... if you have had as many knives as most hunters, you know a good quality one when you hold it. These guys make an outstanding product.
I am hoping for the swingblade pack for father's day... : )"

"I received this set years ago as a Christmas present and have used it ever since. The knives are very high quality and very ergonomic. The sheath is also very useful (similar to a butcher's set-up). I recently bought this same setup for a friend in Wyoming. I know he'll get years of great use out of them."

"I received this set for Christmas and and got to try it out on a big doe a few days later. Blades are very sharp and made quick work of the task. The rubberized handles make them easy to control even when wet. Well worth the price."

"I purchased this to allow me to do a better job of field processing and it fits that need. I was very impressed with the edge on the skinning knife but the blade on the bone saw could be a bit more rigid.

"This has to be the best knife set for hunting ever. I recently lost my original and was totally lost without it, so I had to order another set. Merry X-mas to the person who found it. The saw that comes with it is very useful when it comes to cutting branches out of your way while climbing trees, it is very sharp and keeps its edge for a long time. The gut knife and the skinning knife are not only sharp, they stay sharp. and Outdoor edge will keep them sharp free of charge for life. It is totally amazing how these knives and saw keep the edge after continued uses. If you are looking for a great product look no further."

"Bought and used last season. Handles and cuts well. I would not recommend wearing this any other time but when actually dressing/butchering the animal. It is not designed to wear and walk around or hike with. Wearing while butchering or field dressing made for quick access to the tools without having to bend over a lot to get a tool. Decided on this one over Gerber set because it was wearable. Both Gerber and OE make good knives. Gut, Saw, Cape, all you need. Sure hatchets come in handy but I already have a good hatchet."

"Well, I managed to have an opportunity to use my new knife set over the weekend on a wild boar and I have to say that I'm very pleased with the quality. I skinned the entire pig in no time without having to resharpen the blade, which is a major improvement from other brands I've used in the past. The skinning knife was very comfortable and performed just like I expected after reading all of the other reviews prior to my purchase. The caper is great for the fine work and the saw cut right through the bone with no problem. Based on my limited use to this point, I would highly recommend this product to anyone that hunts pig or deer."
