"It's a nifty idea:) The blade material appears mediocre however, handle-to-blade fit is not solid, and the sheath is cheap; on the plus side it has a great handle, the kraton rubber is excellent, the teeth geometry is very good (the slice in my thumb will attest, which I got while custom fitting the handle!), compact but just enough to get small to med (in a pinch) size jobs done, the design overall is pleasing. If the manufacturer made this with better quality and fit I would gladly pay 3 times the cost; the only reason I wouldn't recommend this item is I believe this tool qualifies as a serious emergency tool that you want in your backpack, but it must meet a minimum standard of quality, looking forward to the manufacturer's improved model:)"
