Duck Boat Paint,November 16, 2009
By Jedpupfrom Colorado
"It took three times to get the paint here, first time leaked all over everything they packed it with, second time leaked but the other stuff was fine, third time they finally packed it by itself, and bubble wrapped it and taped it so good I had a hard time opening it. The paint itself is of outstanding quality. I ordered the dead grass color, and surprisingly it matches my dark deadgrass chesapeake bay retriever perfectly. Now my dog matches my boat!!!! This is a good quality paint, and very durable when it is applied correctly and the surface is prepped, recommend using a self etching primer by dupli color as the primer for aluminum, it goes well with this paint."

Parker Duck Boat Paint,October 27, 2009
By 98Jeepyfrom Spring Hill, TN
"Great product and goes a long way. Plan on repainting the old duck boat and treestands with this. When placing your order, request the paint can is double bubble wrapped. Took me 3 tries to get a can which was not busted open by UPS. Still worth the time and money to get a great product."

Great Paint,July 11, 2009
By mfog15from Turner Maine
"I purchased this paint in the hopes that it will cover a yucky old paint job on a fiberglass boat. It worked Far Better than I ever expected. Great Paint, Oil Based, I used a foam roller & got a very smooth effect. the Fuzzy paint rollers just matt up & make it Difficult."

pretty good stuff,May 11, 2009
By silver2500from MI
"I purchased a gallon of the dead grass. It was more than enough paint for a 12' boat. I used a roller and the stuff went on pretty easy and it dried fairly quickly. It could be a little more durable, it scratches off easier than I would like. I stripped the boat down to bare aluminum and used a zinc chromate primer. Not sure if that has anything to do with the lack of durability. Overall looks good though."

Parker Duck Boat Paint,May 4, 2009
By tbashinfrom West Tx
"I used it to paint my deer lease truck and it has excellent coverage and durability. I drive through thick brush and it won't scratch through. Only suggestion is if you are sraying it with a gun you do have to thin it the maximum and use the largest spray nozzle. I tried with a fine automotive tip and it was just too small. Overall it's great and I will definitely buy it again."

Professional Product,April 25, 2009
By FishOnnnnnnnnnfrom PA
"Applied this paint to a 14 ft jon boat with HVLP sprayer. 2 coats and used less than 1/2 gallon. This paint covers! Dried to the touch in less than 15 minutes. Looks professional. Just gotta see how it holds up in the water now. But I have no worries. :) Thanks to Cabelas for another great product."

Great Product,March 22, 2009
By JohnfromPlacentia
"I just recently bought this product to paint my 14' jon boat that I use for hunting and fishing. I am a painter by trade and I have to tell you that this paint is a great product. I used a HVLP spray gun with one gallon and had more than enough to paint in side and out. I would recommend that you put a little paint thinner in it to achieve a great finish. You could spray it right out of the can but it does not atomize enough. Great coverage, I used hunter green."

duck boat paint,October 14, 2008
By sprayandpray26from tampa, fl
"product is great! painted an old 1978 jon boat, makes it look brand new. I used an hplv, no problems there. I will say if you brush on the first coat nice and thick then use the hplv to make a nice finish."

Quality Boat Paint,October 6, 2008
By Oneshot42
"I recently purchased a gallon of Parker Duck Boat Paint to camouflage my 14' aluminum Jon boat for the upcoming duck season. I used a combination of rag rolling and sponge painting to get the desired effect. Although I simply rinsed off the boat prior to application, the paint covered well and did not peal or flake and has held up great in tough conditions. A half gallon camouflaged the entire 14’ foot boat inside and out. A really good product!"

Olive Drab,October 4, 2008
By manoverboardfrom Brussels, MO
"Hunter green was too dark for me and the marsh grass to mustard colored. By mixing a little less than a quart of the marsh grass with the hunter green you will get that much desired olive drab. Brush on 'sticks' with the left over marsh grass color and some flat black-flat brown spray paint. Looks great, has held up well."

The best,September 29, 2008
By piratehunterfrom NC
"This stuff is worth every penny. In the past I've tried to use regular paint on duck boats and it never held up. I sanded the boat and followed the instructions on the can, and with 2 coats the boat looked like brand new! It has held up very well and I will never use another paint for my duck boats. 1 gallon was enough to do the inside and out (twice) of a 14' flat bottom with about a quart or so left."

AWESOME!!!,August 21, 2008
By VaDuckHntrfrom Waverly, Va.
"I used this paint to cover my 14ft Starcraft and trailer....it is the best paint for duck boats I have ever used. I bought a gallon and used a small foam roller, I barely used a pint to cover the boat and trailer! I put on a second coat just for good measure, with great results. It self levels with no glare or running. Now I guess I get to test how it holds up this waterfowl season!"

don't buy paint!,July 17, 2008
By djohnsfrom Backwoods, Maine
"Ordered A gallon of this paint and it was junk. Paint was unmixable. Appears to have been frozen at some point. I called to complain (customer service was excellent, as always) and they sent me another gallon. #2 gallon was even worse. Called to see what was going on, and they refunded my money, including shipping, and sent me a $25 gift certificate. ***This is the only "bad" experience I have ever had over the many purchases I have made at Cabela's.***"

Like a rock,June 23, 2008
By varmitbusterfrom Monroe, WA
"I have used parker's for 2 boats now. As long as its given plenty of time to cure, it dries to an almost impermeable coat. Its also super dull, so you won't get any glare. Great stuff. I would definately buy it again"
