Model AR-2 Rotary Rock Tumbler

Rock collecting can be a fun, educational and interesting hobby. This polisher brings out the natural beauty in rocks. It has two watertight molded-rubber barrels, each with 1-quart capacity. The 115-volt, 1/75th hp motor supplies plenty of power. This polisher has a heavy-gauge steel base, and it comes with enough polishing grit to do the complete polishing process in two barrels. An informative book on rocks also is included. Dimensions: 6" x 11" x 7-1/2".

"Be patient. It takes about a month of tumbling to get that raw rough rock all polished up. If you don't mind the wait, you'll be very happy with the results.

I did have a problem with one of the tumbler buckets not sealing completely. A little duct tape fixed the problem."

"My wife and I just started our hobby of rock collecting and polishing. We researched many rock tumblers and found the AR-2 to be the best value in size and capabilities. There are several steps in polishing rocks and the dual barrels add value in these steps. This is a great product; however, be aware the noise is louder than we anticipated."
