"The only complaint is that the fit is a little too tight with the side handles mounted on the smoker. It seemed to fit better before I put them on and I may take them back off. There is still a handle on top so they are not absolutely necessary."

"Blanket works well. However it should be about 1 1/2" longer to form a better fit when wrapped around the smoker and a top piece would be nice to trap the heat in extreme cold. When temp gets below 10' F, blanket alone is not enough."

"I smoke salmon once a month with a little chief. The insulation blanket is needed in cooler weather. It works great. It came with velcro tabs that glue on, but I just tie it with a cord around the middle and roll it up to store it."

"Fits a bit snug - I really have to pull it hard to get the velcro to fit. Otherwise it would get a five star rating. Works well - but use caution about using unless it truly is cool/ cold outside. Otherwise temp is a little higher than desired...guess that means it works well."

"This Blanket is overpriced. All it is, is a piece of bubble wrap coated with tinfoil. It seems to shrink after a while so it is hard to get wrapped back around the smoker. It is also a pain to take on and off every time you open your front loader. It does help hold in the heat. But what works better is to get some foam board insulation and glue it to the sides and the top of the smoker. Or take an old blanket or sleeping bag and wrap around the smoker."

"I love this product. I had a big load of jerky to dry and borrowed a buddies smoker without the blanket. The one with the blanket dryed the meat more evenly. Works well in cold weather as well."
