"Love it...My second one and it works great! Smoke anything...Adjust the temp by putting your food higher or lower. Great for fish! Also use the drip pan to keep the juices off the burner."

"We bought this for our son as a B'day gift. He's had a great time smoking ribs, fresh caught salmon (the best we've tasted!) and various other meats. He said it's easy and the taste is great. Our son-in-law got one for Christmas - from us."

"I'm a past owner/user of the Lil Injun front load smokers, so after going through couple of other eclectic smoker brands, I reacquainted myself with the Big Chief smoker. The only negative I would say is that the gauge of aluminum utilized in this newer model is a little thin. However as how it performed on several large trout I'd caught this summer up in the Piute reservoir ...great!"

"The smoker works pretty well. I need to get the heat blanket for it. It is kinda flimsy, the front door bends out of shape really easily. Overall its worth the money, but you do get what you pay for."

"When my smoker arrived, it didn't take me long to see that it was identical to the smoker my father owned 30+ years ago. It produced quality then, and quality now. I also remember the original pamhlet that came with dads smoker. Due to a politically correct world, can see why it wasn't included. Stop reading this, and order your little chief."

Better then Expected...,

"We were a little worry when it arrived. We actually thought it was a smoker/cooker. Didn't realize there was a difference since it was our first time. We had to cook the meat on our grill and then put it in the smoker... it was better then I expected. We try it over the weekend and made some smoked beef roast and smoked some ribs and we love every bite. The cleaning was simple which made it that much easier. Can't wait for the jerkies!"

"The Smoker works great. I have no complaints. If you do get the insulation blanket, it does not fit well with the side handles on the smoker. I am debating taking the handles off. Otherwise this product works well."

"We got together New Years weekend with my inlaws and smoked a whole turkey for about 3 hours after breaking in the smoker for an hour. We then transferred it to a cooking bag in the oven for another 1.5 hours - WOW! What wonderful flavor.
I have since sent my husband out fishing twice.. he loves his Christmas gift. We are looking forward to trying a whole pork loin the next time they go on sale :) and many other recipes in the enclosed book."

"I like the smoker very much, it is easy to use and store when not in use. I have used it several times and am very satisfied with the results..good smoked flavor with very little effort.
The only drawback is the chips that come with the smoker do not last very long. I think the chips should be slightly larger to last longer."

"Bought this item as a Christmas present knowing NOTHING about smokers. Works wonderfully, and is small enough for one person to handle it, but large enough to hold enough meat for an entire household. Loads front and is electric making it incredibly easy to use."
