Carry Lite Tundra Swan Decoys,
August 18, 2009
By RBHinSD

"Nice product, large and lifelike. Very lite, easy to carry. Heads and necks disengage easily. Appear stable on the water, but due to size and profile take larger weights to hold in heavier winds."

"The geese are not afraid of these swans. I also bought the alligator head and they are not afraid of that either.
Also, one of the swans had a small hole in it and it kept filling up with water."

Beautiful, lifelike swan decoy,
August 18, 2008
By KyThunder
|
"I bought these to put on our pond in front of the house. I thought my parents and everyone would enjoy them and I was right. You can not tell these beautiful decoys from the real thing. The way they float around makes them look exactly like they are swimming. Absolutely beautiful as a pond decoration. Swans are so majestic and we have always admired these regal birds. Now we have them on or pond to enjoy all the time."

"I bought these to keep the geese out of my pond and its been working great. They are very nice to watch as they swim around as if they where alive. We had a family of geese last year and they made a mess. If you have a pond they are a must! Great product!"

Fooled the geese and the neighbors!,
April 14, 2008
By JackieLC
from Minneapolis, MN
|
"We bought these plastic swan decoys to ward off the Canada geese coming to the first open water of the spring. They are very real-looking, but did the job of scaring the geese only when the weather was breezy and they moved around on their anchor in the water. They were traffic-stoppers, as passersby continually thought they were the real thing. An amazing perk was that they attracted two pairs of REAL swans, as they were making their way north. We have never seen that on our spot on Lake Minnetonka, MN before.
Well worth the price for the entertainment value, and if they make a difference on the geese, all the better. Lord knows we've tried almost everything else, from metallic tape and string fence to screamer guns and a schnauzer!"

Great Product,
February 20, 2008
By duckslayer56
from Eagle River, AK
|
"I think these are almost the perfect decoy for ducks. They are big and white so they can be seen from a long ways away. And swans are natural duck attractors because they can get at food that is too deep for a duck, and bring it to the surface. I would have rated this a 5 if they had a place at the front of the decoy to attach an anchor. Also It would be nice if they included an attachable keel."

Tundra Swan Decoys,

By SBT2

"Great looking decoys. We shot a swan on the first day with them. They are also light weight and the paint is holding up well so far. The only down side is to many parts. The bill can easily be lost, and the necks pop off with little effort."

"I am delighted with the tundra swan decoys which are being used in a large pond with waterfall in my Asian garden behind my home. They add so much as a point of ionterest in the pond and look almost alive as they move with the wind."

Look good, but Geese ignore them,

"Bought them to deter Geese, but they don't seem to be interested. I have one folating and the other on the ground which I move frequently. Not sure why this isn't working since I've seen other buyers rave about them. Good luck."

These decoys work!!,
April 3, 2007
By Raven1
from Chugiak Ak, waterfowler and bowhunter
|
"I hunt in Alaska, where there are lots of swans and loads of ducks- Often, the problem is getting the ducks to see your decoys. With 1 or 2 of these swan decoys, your spread is easy to spot, and the ducks come in like they are magnetized. I think 1 swan is plenty, so I split the pair with a friend."

Carry-Lite Swan Decoys,
November 21, 2006
By 888tr
from Kansas City, KS
|
"I purchased a pair of Carry-Lite Swan Decoys for a recent waterfowl hunting trip to North Dakota with a couple friends. The three of us drew swan tags and were looking forward to using the decoys for a truely once in a lifetime decoying experience.
When the decoys arrived I couldn't believe how lifelike they looked! We had harvested swans the past few years and had seen them up close, and after seeing how detailed these decoys were, we just knew we were in for a great experience.
The first day we hunted with the swan decoys they didn't fail to deliver. We had a group of 4 swans, 2 mature and 2 cignets, land about 5 yards from the decoys. We let these birds go and ended up harvesting 3 mature birds over the next couple of days.
On top of being excellant decoys for attracting swans, these decoys also do a great job as confidence decoys. Two of these setup outside your floating spread really adds a lot of visibility to your spread and confidence to the birds working your decoys.
Last but not least, these decoys are extremely lightweight and very easy to transport in and out of the field."

Goose deterent,
November 20, 2006
By TimS
from Michigan
|
"I purchased 5 pairs of Carry-Lite Tundra Swan Decoys to use on my golf course. I had heard that geese are afraid of swans. Geese can be a big nuisance on a golf course and the only way to get rid of them is to hunt them during a short season(not very practical with golfers) or scare them. These decoys are very realistic and have worked extremely well. The day I put them out, we had 80 -85 geese. They left as soon as I put the swans in the water. I saw no geese for two weeks and when they did fly in they didn't stay! I would recommend this quality product to anyone who is looking to get rid of nuisance geese."
