"A couple years ago I rebuilt my front porch railing copying one I had seen on a south Mississippi house built in the early 1800's. Various local Mississippi songbirds, especially mockingbirds loved to perch on my beautiful new railing and leave behind noxious evidence of their having been there. "Much nicer and larger than expected. Since it's not nesting time for the birds I am trying to keep away, I won't know until spring if it will be effective. Since I have to hang it, my only concern is that the small molded loop may crack over time. Very pleasant employees, excellent service and fast, reasonable shipping."

"After doing a lot of research, we settled on the owl decoy to try and scare off the scrub jays in our backyard. We hung it from a tree, and the jays literally flew right next to it from the day we got it. As decoys go, it looks like a great one, but it didn't do what we had hoped. We have shopped Cabelas for decades, and this won't change that."

"This is a very realistic decoy. Even my labrador retreiver thought it was real until she sniffed it. We use it to keep the native herons off our fishing pond and it has kept them off 100%. I've seen them circle several times since we put out this decoy, but they never descend to land. Bottom line: it works for what we purchased it for."

"Bought this owl decoy because I was having a problem with song birds in my tomatoes. Didn't want to do drastic harm to them but needed to protect my tomatoes. The owl did the trick! Put the owl up and the birds stayed away. Owl has very good detail and the paint job is above what I expected. This decoy definately saved my garden."

"Used this to repeat the 1982 experiment on crows mobbing a plastic owl. Crows really hate this owl, especially with a plastic crow on its side, looking like the owl killed it. Does a nice job of scaring the birds away from the feeder, also. Very lifelike given the modest price. Good value."

"Our unit in Iraq had been experiencing problems with Doves building nest in our Satellite Antenna System and due to the nature of the equipment we couldnt simply shoot or climb up and scare the birds away...so we ordered your decoy and within one day of placing the decoy we haven't had a return "guest" yet. Thanks again."
"I live on the water and had a problem with ducks leaving their "business" on my dock. I mounted the Owl Decoy on an 8" post right on my dock in July of 2006. I would turn the owl in different directions every other day to give the ducks a different look. It kept the ducks off my dock for the remainder of the summer saving me hours of work formerly required to hose off my dock of the disgusting waste. I've got it mounted on a Willow tree now trying to keep the woodpeckers off it. It appears to be working. For the money expended it's definitely worth a shot to keep unwanted pests away.
