B-Square Bi pod,
October 20, 2009
By Maygulch
from Colorado
|
"I purchased the bipod based on the fact it swiveled thinking it would be more adaptable to the conditions of the terrain. What I found was the bipod was unstable due to the swiveling characteristics. It was very hard for long range shots since the bipod did not hold as steady as I felt it should. Another issue with the bipod was that the sling attachement needed to be drilled out to accept 3 out of 4 sling swivel pins."

B-square Roto-tilt bipod,

"In the picture they look like stainless steel but look more like they were painted grey. got them on my savage 17hmr took it out the next day on the range and they was ok but needed to be beefed up a bit. wouldnt recommend putting a heavier gun on them. Ill use them till they break which prob wont be long because i do alot of yote huntin. anyway I read the ratings before i usually buy and sometimes they are right and then sometimes their wrong should have listen. When these lay down back to harris...Learn from me you get what you pay for....."

Decent Bipod,

"Decent bipod for the money. The stance of the bipod is a too wide in my opinion. I have a different brand that i like better. This bipod does swivel somewhat and does have more adjustment though."

Roto Tilt,
January 27, 2009
By Anonymous
from Atascadero CA.

"Grate for the bench but maybe a little sloppy for the field. because it has the 180 degree rotation when you have this bipod in the stowed position it will still rotate. so when you stow the legs its best to stow them in them pointing at the butt of the rifle. Everything els is grate. The extintions work grate the rototilt is grate for faster smoother target aquisition. The installation is fast and easy it is very light wait. Mine is in the "staneless" finish it is actully more like a buffed aluminiem. Over all I think it is worth it."

"Not that cabelas sells cheap products for the most part but this bipod was far less than what I expected. It barely held up my rifle just sitting there. The springs in the shafts felt old and rusty first day out in bad weather."

"i was very happy with the product i thought installantion was easy and the prodouct quality was good for the price. i installed the product on a savage .17 hmr and it works great i must say though if you have a high powered riffle im not sure this is the tri pod for you. altough my .17 weighs over six pounds it has no recoil the tri pod handles the weight well but im not sure it would be up to the abuse of some repeted recoil. ive gota say i love the fact that it pivits and turns and has worked great for me"

You Get What You Pay For,
November 29, 2008
By CritterStalker
from Grand Island, NE
|
"This Bi-Pod is a great example of you get what you pay for. It serves it's purpose of providing a inexpensive, light weight, tilting and rotating firing platform. It makes it easy so you don't need to reposition the legs between quick followup shots. It does loose some stability when you extend the legs to their longer lengths as they seem loose and wiggle a bit. It is somewhat difficult to lenghten the legs in a hurry with gloves on. The legs scratch easy and already show wear from the sling swivel rubbing on them after only 2 weeks of hunting with it. Bottom line, it works. It's not pretty or something you'd want to use for target shooting but for a versatile shooting platform that you don't mind showing use it serves it's purpose. Happy hunting."
