"This heavy-weight wool shirt is a great combination shirt/jacket. I wore it on top of a poly undershirt and a light wool shirt while deer hunting at 6,000 feet in 20 degree weather and it was perfect. I appreciated the shoulder and elbow pads as well. It stopped the wind and cold without being bulky. Great combo item."

"I bought this shirt to go with the pants to use out in the deserts of Southern Oregon during winter. To this day I have yet to find myself in temps cold enough that I need to wear this stuff. It seems quite durable and you cannot beat the price. The shirt fits more like a jacket and good luck ever getting it tucked in. All in all columbia has made a good solid product."

"I have used this jacket on many occasions for the past month and found it very comfortable in 20 degree temperatures. In most instances it was layered over a cotton t-shirt and a light fleece.
At 6'6", and 240 lb, I found the XL a roomy fit over proper layers. I'll be taking this jacket on a Canadian moose hunt in October."

"I bought the pants that go with this shirt last year.I loved them so much I figured that I mine as well get the shirt too, not knowing for sure If I would like it. I'm glad I bought it because not only does it go nicely with the pants, I can also wear it as a jacket around the yard and in the woods. I wore both the pants and shirt the first day of Deer hunting and I was very comfortable and warm sitting in my tree all day.... No regrets here!!"

"I went back to a basic shell this season, wool. Couldnt be happier that i did. I spend a lot of time hunting in cold weather and layering is the key to keeping warm. I'm tired of bulky synthetics! Wear a good tight base layer (under armor), a wind blocker, and then add this top and pant to the mix and you'll be ready for the freezing temps. This jacket is a little oversized, go one size smaller."

"I have had my shirt for 3 years. It has worked great from the midwest to the high country of Colorado. It has kept me warm in single diget temps on many occasions. Its a very rugged and tuff shirt. The only shirt I have found that will hold up to any punishment I put it through. The only down side is the buttons came off very easly, but thats a simply fix with a needle and some heavy thread. Many of my friends and family have the wool now and they all thank me for telling them about the product and I would recamend it to any one looking for great hunting gear."

"I tried this on and new I had a winner. Nice fit generous pockets not to tight. Padded shoulders, warm & stops the wind dead. Silent and that was what I was looking for. Appears to be well made & stiched, cuffs are tight. Each front pocket (2) has 5 grips for noise free ammo. This jacket has a nice lenth that goes over your pants making a water /air tight seal. I only wish the had added some additional pockets other than the two chest pockets."

"I purchased the Columbia wool sight unseen, based on other quality equiptment I've bought in the past. I was impressed with the thickness and comfort. Reinforced elbows and two chest pockets is also a plus. Used on a predator hunt this winter in Colorado, Extremely warm and durable. Nice for archery or muzzle loading nice and quiet!"
