"HAD NO PROBLEMS SO FAR WITH THE TRAP AND HAVE THROWN APPROX 600 TARGETS, NEEDED TO FIT PLY TO BOTTOM, WAS AWARE OF THAT FROM OTHER REVIEWS. PLENTY OF TARGETS GO UNBROKEN AND HAVE HAD SOME GREAT AFTERNOONS WITH MATES. I RECOMMEND CABELAS, THE ORDER ARRIVED WITHIN ONE WEEK (VIA AIR), AND AT HALF THE COST OUT OF SYDNEY OR MELBOURNE (INCLUDING FREIGHT) OF INTEREST WAS THAT MELBOURNE AND SYDNEY SUPPLIERS TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE A 2 MONTH WAIT, STILL TRYING TO WORK THAT OUT. ALL THE BEST CABELAS AND KEEP UP THE GREAT SERVICE AND PRODUCT."

Satisfied with Do-All Trap,
February 22, 2009
By SCTiger
from Johns Island, SC

"Good product for the money. Very versatile, clays can be thrown in a variety of angles. Doesn't have the velocity of the automatic throwers, and base works better by attaching it to something sturdy such as a spare tire or adding sandbags. The string broke after about two dozen pulls, but easily fixed."

Great fun for little price!,

"I bought this to replace the red hand thrower i was useing as i wanted to include my 8 and 4 year old boys in my shooting fun. great buy! extremly easy to put together, it came with all the tools required. my only gripe is the stakes included for holding the unit down didn't work at all for the extremely rocky dessert area here in S. CA. this was easily fixed by bolting the tripod to a 2'x4' piece of plywood, which works great becuase you can stand or sit on the ply useing yourself as a counter weight. this set-up also makes sliding in and out of my truck super easy!! the spring is strong enough to throw up too three clays a fairly good distance, but is still easy enough for my 8 yr old to recock!! overall a great product."

Great thrower for the price,
September 29, 2008

"First of all I'm a complete novice. I got a shotgun of my dad's when he died so I figured I should learn to shoot. I've never even seen clay pigeons shot before. This thing throws them very well. I'd have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for two things. 1 - Every once in a while the clay would come out broken even though I was careful loading it. 2 - the lever that releases the spring hits the frame when pulled so it was hard to pull. Once I bent that away from the frame a little my 3-year old was able to pull the lever and release the clay. We had a blast."

FULL-COCK CLAY TRAP,

By sean338

"yet again awesome service from cabelas I recived mine in 4 days from the States to Perth western australia amazing, and an awesome product hours of fun and built bullet proof the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because I think they shouldnt make you buy the wobbler kit seperate, like another bloke said before they should just up the price and have the wobbler kit as standard as the normal brackets are to slow to change if you want to keep the shooter guessing. next for the 3/4 trap"

Do-All full cock clayhawk trap thrower,
June 28, 2008
By highmesa66

"This is the second Do-All trap thrower that I have purchased, the first one being The Competitor model and the Clay Hawk model was purchased for the ease of set-up. Not only is it easier to set up, but it is better constructed and has more features that make it a versatile thrower. The tripod stand that it attaches to was actually the feature that sold me on this model. It's much easier to set up and the thrower has many adjustments to vary the type of shot required. It also sits high enough to allow the operator the option of either sitting down on a low chair or without a chair. And because there isn't a chair attached, this model can be taken apart and stored in a smaller space. For my purpose, this model is ideal and I give it a 5 star rating."

Do-All Trap,
November 26, 2007
By Colemans87
from Papillion, NE

"This is a very good, quality product for the price. I purchased one this Thanksgiving weekend. Assembly was quick, the DVD was informative, and the ease of use was appreciated. We took it out and threw 2 boxes (180 clays) without a problem. We experimented with various angles, directions, doubles.....the unit worked well.
We did use a sandbag for additional weight/stabilization. The stakes will not hold the unit in place for an extended period. I've already got an eye on the Double Trap."

"My friends and I are having an awesome time with are Do-All traps. I bought two Full Cock Clay Hawk models and built a shed around it works great. We shoot hours upon hours. Best time I had in along time. I recommend a wobble kit so you can really turn those targets fast to throw them over confident shooters off.
Thanks Cabelas and Do-It all traps. Your Services were awesome. Sincerely, JLC2"

excellent thrower,

By bigelkslayer

"The actual thrower is awesome. It has more functionality and alterability than i imagined when i ordered it. It can be manipulated to be able to throw just about any clay you want. The only downside is the stakes they give you to stabilize the thrower are worthless, but i knew that when i ordered. Just plan on using a sandbag or mounting it on some kind of base."

"this clay slinger is real great it is very adjustable to throw in all directions, the only problem is that the stakes do not do a good job holding it to the ground, but i just put a sand bag down and it does not go any where. the price of the unit is worth it if you use it enough. i would recommend this to every skill level."

"this is an ok product. you have to keep it on the ground with stakes. but they dont "grab" the ground so they always came out. for distance and strenght though this is exallent. but after a while it got wobbly and my dad and i wernt sure if it was safe. we brought it back to our house and tightened all the bolts. we are going to try it again."

Bad Experience,
November 21, 2006
By Buckslayer79
from King George, VA
|
"Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with this product. I took it out of the box and assembled it with little or no problem. I could not wait to test this bad boy out. To my surprise after around 30 launches, the entire top part came unwelded from the body!!! Luckily it didn't hurt anyone. Instead of going through the hassle of sending it back and everything, I tac-welded it back to the body. I still am not satisfied with the capability of the product. My friend bought a cheaper trap thrower that does a better job launching them. I wouldn't recommend this product."
