Much more controllable,August 6, 2009
By NNShooterfrom Newport News, VA
"Easy to install, and makes the gun much easier to handle, especially when conducting reloads. The foregrip doesn't block the loading port when fully to the rear."

Excellent Stock Set for Moss 500,November 20, 2008
By Wolfman90from Buffalo NY
"Just got it today and absoluty love it. Its eazy to install if you know how to break-down your gun. And My Mossberg is a snap to dissasemble. The Stock Fit perfect but the pump was a little difficult to fit but with a stedy hand and a screwdriver it sliped on and fit vary tightly. It makes the gun handle a lot better and is vary comfortable to hold. If you want to add that cool tactical look and feel to your shotgun you cant go wrong with this stock set."

OH WELL..,February 8, 2008
By OHWELLTOOBADfrom GEORGIA
"THIS WAS A PRODUCT I HAD BEEN VERY EXCITED ABOUT, NOT JUST FOR THE "TACTICAL" USE OF THE PRODUCT, BUT FOR THE GRIP AND DURABILITY OVER FACTORY WOOD. THE STOCK IS MADE WELL AND MY WRIST IS NOT SORE AFTER LONG PERIODS OF HOLDING THE GUN(HUNTING). HOWEVER, THE FORE-END PRACTICALLY REQUIRED RE-TOOLING TO INSTALL IT. WHEN THEY SAY "TIGHT FIT" THEY MEAN "REQUIRES MODIFICATION". OVERALL, NOT WHAT I EXPECTED FOR THE $."

Rem. 1100....Shoots good....Looks better!!!,October 23, 2007
By Jsullyfrom Spotsy, VA
"Stock is good quality and feels great while shooting.
Only complaints are: I have a 10 round magazine extender on my shotgun, and about the 6 or 7 shell one of the shotgun shells fall out of the stock. Also the stock is a little loose, I guess I need a spacer.
Overall good buy for the price."

Speedfeed stock for Win 1300,July 16, 2007
By JimP1from Indiana
"Well made, improved pointing and fit of my Win 1300 a bunch. Stock was not a straight installation, required a spacer (provided) to fit the 1300. I think it is molded to fit the 1200 and needs the spacer to fit the 1300. The spacer added too much to the trigger reach for me so I left it out, making the stock a bit undersized where it meets the receiver - not a problem but not the best fit. Instructions weren't the best but it's a pretty simple job. I e-mailed the company about filling in the area that isn't a perfect fit (due to me leaving out the spacer) and they were responsive and informative. I think the Win 1300 tends to point very poorly due to the factory stock, this was a very big improvement."

Sketchy,April 2, 2007
By Disbarredfrom Edgewood, Wa
"Stock fit like a gem. Both parts were easy to install but pump did not fit right on my Remington 870. Had to pump extra hard to bring shell into chamber. Would recommend the the stock not the pump. Eventually replaced this set with the Houge set. Cant say enough nice things about Houge."

Need tool,March 27, 2007
By Duckheadfrom VA
"I would have thought the spanner wrench would have been included. Tried to do some home gunsmithing and need a special tool. Had to take it to a gunsmith anyway for the tool. That cost more than what I saved buying through the catalog."

SPEEDFIELD TACTICAL STOCK,November 20, 2006
By doogiefrom MICHIGAN
"I COULD NOT SHOOT GOOD WITH THE ORIGINAL STOCK ON MY REM 11-87 SLUG GUN SO I BOUGHT THE SPEEDFIELD PISTOL GRIP STOCK TO EXPERIMENT. AFTER THE FIRST FEW SHOTS I COULD NOT BELIEVE THE ADDED CONTROL AND ACCURACY I HAD. EVEN STANDING SHOTS AT 25 YARDS WERE DEAD ON. ALL TOGETHER THE STOCK IS SOLID AND HAS GIVEN ME CONFIDENCE IN THE GUN."

rattle,November 7, 2006
By muddslinger18801
"Installation of the rear grip was a snap. but the front fore-end requires complete disassembly of the internal parts. so unless your completely familiar with the bake-down of the weapon it's probably best to have a qualified gunsmith perform this. The pistol grip design helps to keep you on the target but at the same time it makes the safety on the mossberg 500 a little harder to manipulate as it moves your thumb down lower on the stock. Although the general design and the softer but plate help to reduce the felt recoil when firing 3" mags. The fore-end is a little slimmer than the factory one and has a tendency to rattle a bit."
