"This little device is wicked. I attached it to a Glenfield Model 60. Cyclic rate achieved has to be close to 900 rds per minute. Problem is I only have 15 rds per load as the Mod 60 has a tubular magazine. Device was designed for the Ruger 10-22. Looks like I will be buying one of those with hi cap magazines soon. Great fun. Sure gets everyones attention at the range."

"Nice addition to my semi auto 22 for my son. My son has MD and has a problem with pulling the triggers. The BMF activator made it easy for him to fire off the gun. Only problem that I can see is the small part and mounting it to the gun. A little akward. But over all pleased with the item."

"It's not the same as firing a real full auto rifle, but it's still alot of fun. We have some junk cars around that we shoot at and it's a blast to stitch the side with holes using this thing on my 10/22. The only downside is that if you don't have a bipod it's hard to aim. Also, (when using it on a 10/22) it works great with a clean rifle fitted with a recoil buffer, but it seems to jam alot more often in a dirty rifle or one without a recoil buffer. Alot of stovepipe jams. I think the thing fires so fast that it strikes the firing pin while the bolt is bouncing off of the breechface after the bolt travels forward. A recoil buffer reduces the bolt bouce and allows this thing to work better. I also used it on my SKS (with a bipod!) and it works awesome. You should see it with tracer rounds and the BMF Activator on it..."

"I would have given this product 5 stars, except it took a while
getting the correct spacer (there are 3) and adjustment on the trigger guard just right. Once I got everything correct I had
loads of fun with some 25 and 50 round mags. YEAH!!"

"First, it works good and comes with 3 adjustments for different triggers. i used it on the ruger 10/22 and worked good till a shell would get caught. There going so fast that they hit one another. it does leave a nasty screw hole if you have a plastic trigger guard. i also used it on a AR15. WOW!"

"I put the activator on my Marlin 60 .22, and bought a brick of ammo. I wish I had bought more ammo, because something about emptying 15 rounds in about a second is way too much fun. Using some hotter loads is a good idea, to ensure that every round cycles through."

"This item was purchased for my 10/22 and I realized it was a mistake as soon as I took it out of the package. I tried to tighten the unit on the trigger, only to find out the item was cracked(The whole thing was made of plastic), and it would not work. Cabelas should discontinue this item."

"The BMF activator had both good and bad reviews. but for the price I went ahead and bought one. After about 400 rounds I have had NO problems at all, but the key is how it's installed.
When I went to install it on my 10/22 it moved around to much so I made a thin shim that went between the housing and the triger guard to get a tighter fit. It must be a tight fit before the set screws are tighten. Crank off a few and injoy!"

"I was a skeptic when I bought this, but now I am a true believer. Worked without any problems. I used this first on my Ruger 10/22 and all I can say is i'm glad I also purchased the Shooters Ridge 10/22® Magazine Loader from Cabelas as well. As a note, if your using it on a stock 10/22, try the medium striker bar first. Read the instructions and youll know what I mean.
I also tried it on my DPMS CAR 4, again, it worked flawlessly using the long striker bar.
Be warned though, if your not careful, it can scuff up your trigger guard a little. I just wish I had one of these before the ammo prices took a big jump."

"I just purchased the BMF Activator and it is GREAT! Easy instructions, easy to use, and a GREAT gift. This product is lots of fun and I am going to buy more. I even called the manufacture to see if I could get more activator bars and the lady was exteemly nice, she said she warrenties everything, she is even sending me more activator bars and nylon screws for free. Come to find out they company is located near me and they have been in business for over 25 years. Down home people, down home service and down home fun! American Made "the only way to go"!"

"Was able to fire 8 rounds before it worked its way off the triger guard. Could not get it to stay on. Lost a peice to it that would not stay in now the other two peices are too big or small. The actual device is not stable. If it was made out of metal instead of plastic it would be a different story. Good concept...bad product."
